Ordinary 15 jerseys of 300k from Osimhen, you've opened your emptiness to the world. The other day, Ruth Fufu took a full month to share 1m from Boniface. The laptop guy is sending laptops to ghosts and has been sharing lawsuits. Zero integrity. Criminal mindset.

We are gonna have to talk about Yoruba people and culture one day, yes, I am Yoruba. We have to sit down and etch what our morality and values are and what it shouldn’t be because right now we are on the path of self-destruction. Democracy has exposed our culture.

The Irony is brutal. When over 160 girls were slaughtered in their school, it didn't bring a human dimension. It certainly didn't rise to a solemn moment. Some lives, it seems, are more human than others. Some deaths more worthy of our (western) grief. Some victims more deserving of a name, a face, a moment of solemnity on television. As sad as it seems, this is a mirror of the world today and what it reflects is deeply uncomfortable.
Hamza Yusuf@Hamza_a96

“It brings a human dimension to the war…” says Sky News’ military analyst about a missing American pilot from an F-15 jet. Has Sky News ever raised that same human dimension about the US and Israel’s carpet bombing of Gaza, Lebanon and Iran?

When Polymarket hosts bets on outcomes affecting hundreds of thousands of ppl in Iran and/or the global south no one blinks. But the moment it involves a single American pilot suddenly we’re confronting the ethics. The double standard in how human life is valued is staggering.

dystopia: whatever happens to the pilot, at least polymarket will make money on the outcome. shut this down.

No sovereign state hosts a foreign military base on its territory without having negotiated away part of its sovereignty in exchange for protection, or it is simply under occupation as a result of a previous conflict. The only remaining vestige of sovereignty for these states is the theoretical ability to close those foreign bases, an extremely rare occurrence in practice.
Bader Al-Saif بدر السيف@bmalsaif

The US bases in the Gulf do not turn the Gulf into satellite states or strip their sovereignty. They’re part of mutually agreed upon defense partnerships similar to those between the US and other states in Europe and Asia. That said, this model requires a reset and the same is true regarding the Gulf’s relationship with Iran.

The world should bookmark and remember this moment, a statement from the US Secretary of State openly acknowledging the punishment of two adult women, not for who they are or for any wrongdoing of their own, but simply because of who they are related to. This alone exposes the hypocrisy and double standards at play. It raises serious questions about how firmly the US truly stands by its stated principles on women’s rights and individual accountability

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States. The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

For those that don't understand Yoruba: "Even if I don't get another political post I am satisfied, but only a dead person will stop aiming for new opportunities. For the little time we spent at the federal post we fixed our people to key positions". Every young and truly progressive thinking Nigerian youth should be triggered by utterances like this. He didn't brag about the successes attained by the ministry he was to administrate over.
