@AmericanAir Standing here looking at a dozen machines that just don’t work, two long lines of passengers, and TWO staff members at the counter doing their best to deal with all of it.
English

@AmericanAir needs to evaluate the “self serve” kiosk/bag drop procedures. This is my 3rd airport in 2 weeks where the process is a complete mess for passengers and staff when it’s clearly the fault of someone in an ivory tower who thought this would be “efficient”. Hire humans.

As a teacher in U.S., I will finally concede the existence of learning loss. It seems it’s not the children we need to worry about, though.

Do not fill plastic bags with gasoline.

Not only should @Schoology not be auto-closing my support tickets, they should be paying me to report bugs in the system!

For back to school training day 1 the big messages were to keep it business as usual and directives about dresscode and workspace. We're still in a pandemic. It's not business as usual. #teachfromhome

@mme_wagstaff @rcaseyLHS @BBmilliken @langchat @WLClassroom Yes. They improved the navigation a little right around the end of the school year. It’s a little easier to find the stuff you want now.

Gotta say I’m a really big fan of every person on EduTwitter NOT having a hot take every 5 minutes about other teachers’ best efforts during remote/hybrid/quaranlearning.
Anyway, that’s my hot take.

Flair pen online orders where teachers can customize what colors they want in a 24 pack 💡‼️‼️‼️ @PaperMate

@stevevagabond Buy as much language learning software as possible. The more expensive, the better the quality. There are no suitable materials available for free online.

@lovemysummer Idea #2, similar to 1st: Show Ss an easy-to-copy graphic org (Venn, t-chart, table) and have them *do* something with the information on that resource
English

@lovemysummer Idea #1: Old-fashioned note taking, but in small bites. Have students choose the 5 most important expressions or whatever and add them to a document. Or make it part of your bellwork for them build up their own hard copy of that resource a little bit at a time.
English

#langchat Help me brainstorm best way to approach this: in F2F class, we have several reference handouts we use all the time to scaffold/support/guide tasks. Easy to make them digitally available, but how is best so that Ss can refer to them & stay in videochat, esp on phones?1/2
