There is something powerful about The Bible when you don’t just read Psalm 23… but you pray it. Many people read scriptures, but few turn them into conversations with God. Psalm 23 is not just a chapter — it is a prayer pattern. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want…” Father, I declare today that You are my Shepherd. I surrender my life to Your leadership. Guide me in every decision, in every step I take. I refuse to lack because You are my source. Provide for me according to Your will — not my selfish desires, but Your perfect plan for my life. “He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters…” Lord, bring me into Your rest. Silence every anxiety, every pressure, every confusion in my mind. Lead me away from chaos and into Your peace. Teach me to trust You even when I don’t understand. “He restores my soul…” Father, restore me. Heal every place where I am tired, broken, or discouraged. Where I have lost strength, breathe life again. Renew my mind, my emotions, and my spirit. “He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake…” Lord, align me with Your will. Help me to walk in righteousness — not according to my feelings, but according to Your Word. Let my life bring glory to Your name. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil…” Father, even in difficult seasons, I will not fear. I declare that You are with me. Every valley I face, I walk through it with confidence because Your presence surrounds me. “Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me…” Lord, correct me where I am wrong. Discipline me in love and keep me on the right path. Let Your guidance be my comfort, not my resistance. “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies…” Father, honor me in the places where I have been opposed. Let Your favor speak for me. Even in the presence of those who doubt me, show Yourself strong in my life. “You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over…” Lord, anoint me afresh. Let my life overflow with Your grace, Your power, and Your blessings — not just for me, but for everyone connected to me. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” I declare today that goodness and mercy are following me — not occasionally, but daily. Everywhere I go, I carry evidence of Your presence. “And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Father, keep me in Your presence. Let my heart never drift away from You. I choose a life that is rooted in You, both now and forever. This is how you pray Psalm 23: You don’t just read it — you personalize it, declare it, and align it with God’s will. Remember: not every prayer is about asking for things. Some prayers are about surrender, alignment, and trust. Pray the Word… and watch your life begin to reflect it. Amen.

IS A PLINTH BEAM NECESSARY FOR BUNGALOWS? Do not feel discouraged for prioritizing quality construction. Wanting your building to last is the right mindset. Let me provide clear and practical guidance. A foundation chain beam is important if you value durability, structural stability, and long term performance over frequent cracks and costly repairs. Yes, a bungalow can be constructed without a plinth beam. However, after about 10 to 15 years, visible cracks often begin to appear. These cracks are usually caused by differential settlement, where parts of the foundation settle unevenly. The need for a chain beam depends on specific site conditions and the structural design of the building. A chain beam is strongly recommended when building on the following conditions: 1. Sloped land When a building is constructed on a slope, a higher foundation is required to maintain stability. If the foundation height exceeds five courses of blocks, a chain beam becomes essential to tie the structure together and prevent movement. 2.Weak or uneven soil Soils with low bearing capacity or uneven strength can lead to settlement issues. A chain beam helps distribute loads evenly across the foundation, reducing the risk of cracks and structural failure. 3.Flood prone areas In areas exposed to flooding or persistent waterlogging, a chain beam improves foundation stability and protects the structure from moisture related damage. 4 Expansive soil Soils such as clay expand and shrink with changes in moisture content. This movement can affect the foundation. A chain beam helps control these movements and minimizes structural distress. 5 Complex building designs Buildings with large openings, irregular layouts, or uneven load distribution require a chain beam to properly balance and transfer loads. When is a chain beam not necessary? If the soil is firm, stable, and well compacted, and the building design is simple and evenly loaded, a chain beam may not be required. That said, quality should always come before cost. Assumptions can be expensive. Always consult a qualified professional before making structural decisions. © Ahmed Inusa

President Tinubu Directs Ex-Governor Ayade to Step Down from 2027 Senate Race Former Governor of Cross River Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, has yielded to a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to withdraw his ambition for the Cross River North Senatorial District seat in the 2027 general elections. In an emotional statement released on Monday, Ayade disclosed that he was recently invited to Abuja for a high-level national consultation with the Presidency. Following the meeting, it became evident that the President wanted him to shelve his senatorial bid. “I yield to his request even as I pour tears of ill treatment and agony,” Ayade said. Ayade Lists Contributions, Appeals for Review. The former governor, who served two terms as governor and was a senator before that, recounted his significant contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South region. He noted that he was the first APC governor in the South-South and played a foundational role in building the party’s structure in Cross River State. During the 2023 presidential election, he delivered nearly 40,000 votes above the PDP’s performance in the state a historic feat. Ayade also reminded President Tinubu of his early support, stating that he was the first APC governor to push for Tinubu to be given the right of first refusal as the party’s 2023 presidential candidate. He popularized the slogan: “If Tinubu Can Fix Lagos, Tinubu Can Fix Nigeria.” Despite these efforts, Ayade said he has been sidelined for over three years without any federal appointment. He is, however, currently running a free transportation scheme as part of his campaign support for the President’s expected 2027 re-election bid. He appealed to the President to revisit the order, arguing that his federal constituency has only enjoyed senatorial representation for eight years, while his main opponent has had 20 years. Granting the opponent another term, he said, would amount to a fourth term in the National Assembly.

If you are praying about finances and debts, stop praying empty words… pray scriptures. God is not moved by complaints—He responds to His Word. Many people say: “God, I need money… But heaven responds when you pray what God has already said. When you pray scriptures, you are not begging… you are standing on covenant. Look at this 👇 📖 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1) ➡️ “Father, You are my Shepherd. Therefore, I lack nothing. Everything I need is already provided for me.” 📖 “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory…” (Philippians 4:19) ➡️ “Lord, You are my source—not my job, not people. I declare that all my needs are supplied. I will not lack.” 📖 “You shall lend to many nations and not borrow…” (Deuteronomy 28:12) ➡️ “Father, I receive grace to come out of debt. I refuse to live in borrowing. I am a lender and not a borrower in Jesus’ name!” 📖 “It is He who gives you power to get wealth…” (Deuteronomy 8:18) ➡️ “Lord, release upon me ideas, strategies, and opportunities. I receive the power to create wealth.” 📖 “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty…” (Proverbs 21:5) ➡️ “Give me discipline and wisdom. My financial decisions will lead to abundance and not loss.” 📖 “Give, and it will be given to you…” (Luke 6:38) ➡️ “Father, make me a giver. As I give, I receive abundance—pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” Now hear this… You will never pray amiss when you pray scriptures. Stop approaching God like a beggar… Approach Him like a son who knows what is written. You are not trying to convince God to bless you— You are aligning yourself with what He has already spoken. 🔥 Speak supply 🔥 Speak wisdom 🔥 Speak discipline 🔥 Speak increase 🔥 Speak freedom from debt And as you consistently declare His Word, your life will begin to reflect it. Stop crying about money… Start declaring the Word. #KingdomFinances #PrayTheWord #FaithInAction

A Powerful Prayer for the New Week My father and My king ,Thank you for this new day that you have made. I come by the blood of Jesus and I satisfy myself. As I step into this new week, I come before Your throne of grace with a heart full of gratitude. You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:3-4), and Your mercies are new every morning — great is Your faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23). Lord, I declare that this is the day and the week You have made — I will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). I receive this new week as a gift from Your hand, and I surrender every moment of it back to You. Father, order my steps. As Your Word promises, the steps of a righteous man are ordered by You, and You delight in his way (Psalm 37:23). Let every path I take this week be directed by Your hand. Where I cannot see, give me faith. Where I am weak, be my strength — for Your Word declares that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). Guard my mind and my heart. Let Your peace, which surpasses all human understanding, guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In every anxious moment, remind me to cast all my cares upon You, for You care for me (1 Peter 5:7). Prosper the work of my hands. As I labour this week, let Your favour go before me. Remind me that it is You who gives me the power to create wealth and to succeed (Deuteronomy 8:18). Let no weapon formed against my progress, my purpose, or my peace prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, make me a light. Let my life this week reflect Your glory, that men may see my good works and glorify You, my Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Give me wisdom in my words, grace in my interactions, and love in all my dealings. I rebuke every spirit of fear, delay, and defeat. For You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me (Romans 8:37). Finally, Lord, let this week end with a testimony. As You promised, those who trust in You shall not be put to shame (Isaiah 49:23). I trust You completely. Have Your way in my life this week — in my home, my work, my relationships, and my calling. I pray all of this in the mighty, matchless, and majestic name of Jesus Christ Amen. And Amen. “This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

The biggest shift in my prayer life was moving from desperation to authority. There was a time I thought prayer was about begging God… Crying louder, fasting longer, hoping maybe heaven would notice me. But then light came. God is not asking us to beg… He is asking us to believe. Begging comes from uncertainty. Authority comes from revelation. When you don’t know who you are in Christ, you will pray like a victim. When you know who you are, you will pray like a son. The Bible says: “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace…” (Hebrews 4:16) Not crawling. Not shrinking. Boldly. Why? Because you are not a stranger trying to gain access… You are a child who already belongs. Listen—prayer is not convincing God to do what He is reluctant to do. Prayer is enforcing what He has already made available in Christ. That’s why you will never pray amiss if you pray scriptures. Because when you pray scriptures, you are not speaking your emotions… You are speaking His will. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.” (1 John 5:14) Scriptures reveal His will. So when you pray the Word, heaven has no option but to respond. Instead of saying: “Lord… please help me, I don’t know what to do…” You rise and declare: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1) Instead of saying: “God, I’m afraid…” You stand on His Word: “For God has not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Instead of begging for victory, you declare: “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” (Romans 8:37) This is the difference. Desperation prays from lack. Authority prays from finished work. Jesus already paid the price. He already secured the victory. You are not trying to win… You are enforcing what has been won. So when you pray, don’t come like someone trying to persuade God. Come as one who knows: “I have access.” “I have backing.” “I have authority in Christ.” Let your prayers be filled with Word. Let your mouth speak what heaven has already said. Because when God hears His Word in your mouth… He confirms it. Stop begging. Start believing. Stop pleading. Start declaring. You will never pray amiss… If you pray scriptures.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
