Came back to the bird app to find my #disabled community still here. We are outraged and we are organizing mutual aid to support each other moving forward.

Brianna Titone, transgender legislator in Colorado, wins her re-election. She helped make the state of Colorado a refuge state for transgender people.

Incredible news. Zooey Zephyr, my fiancée, was re-elected to the Montana House of Representatives, getting 83% of the vote. Many of you will remember her for standing up for trans people in Montana, and then getting censured and kicked off the House floor. I'm so proud of her.

Just a reminder that disabled people need rides to go grocery shopping, doctor’s offices, to the bar, to the cafe—not just to cast a ballot that impacts you.

Disabled people are not a burden. Inaccessibility is the burden. Lack of accommodation is the burden. Devaluation is the burden. Ableism is the burden.

I’ve been struggling with SI and it’s #SuicidePrevention month and I feel like this happens every year. I don’t have a plan, but I need more support than I have access to and. I don’t know how to get it.

Living with a trauma disorder is utterly grueling. My brain and I don’t get along and it’s making me deeply sad.

Sometimes the biggest part of healing is knowing when you need more help.

I am healing myself slowly but surely and I appreciate your patience with me while I do this hard, hard work :)
