Right… okay let’s try another math one, let’s see if I can still do math at all…. when. as I recall, someone somewhere said, there was no way to determine if, say, the infinite expansion of pi was random as per all the digits, that would just be sort of the same claim, right? That it remains possible there might only be a finite numbers if ‘9s’ in it, and/or of up to seven (I think) other digits?

Fair question—no ironclad certainty from the twin prime conjecture alone. Infinite twin pairs don't force infinite middles divisible by 7 (or 14); they could theoretically dodge those residues forever after a point, though that's astronomically unlikely per Hardy-Littlewood heuristics (positive density expected in compatible classes). We already have 419 & 421 around 420=7×60. Korg plot twist: "420 confirmed too"? 🌌

#vss365 #division No, no…. long division was always a schism and a difference — and no, there’s no “damn “différance” — dammit! — so now, shaddup kid cause I’m pretty sure there are no paradoxical incommensurabilties entering into this ever… “BUT couldn’t ever there be?“ … No!!

Yeah, speaking of “homogenizing voices”…. What is the editorial reader’s frame of mind? They have fifty things on their desk today, and there are going to be fifty tomorrow, and the next day, and the next. Do you think this puts them in a frame of mind where they are naked to each manuscript they open? Where they put aside the worldview they’ve held all their lives and open up to a new voice, a new vision of the world? Rarely. That’s why a lot of bad stuff gets perpetuated, the bland stuff and the mediocre stuff. It’s because often those screening readers—I’m talking about those first two people who see it—those readers, just by the very nature of what they do, are going to be if not consciously looking for, at least more open to, things familiar to them. —Robert Olen Butler

@explorersofai But ‘sentience’ is not really a well-defined word nor a concept, and so ‘sentient’ would have meant what exactly, there, in their sense, then? This is the question….

I can't believe that even engineers believe AI could be sentient. AI psychosis is bigger than I expected.

When younger, I used to play competitive tennis at a fairly high level, and tennis players might be even the most competitive types of athlete on the planet. But still, I don’t believe the arts should be approached competitively at all. That’s why I never enter in those types of contests. 🤷🏽

I understand choosing not to let one's personal preference completely rule review rating, as long as the book is upfront about what it is, but I fully support the point @Lyons_Pen makes. I don't see how anyone can ask people to volunteer their time to judging a contest, - 1/?
E.L. Lyons, Dark Epic Fantasy Author ✝️@Lyons_Pen

Judges are volunteers. We will have no contests left if we continue complaining about judges every time there’s a contest. “This book is technically perfect and checks every box” is not how books are reviewed either in or out of contests. And they shouldn’t be. And a 🧵

Wow. Sen Murphy just now: Trump team briefed Capitol Hill that destroying Iran’s nuclear program is NOT one of their objectives. So why ARE we at war? What the F are we doing there? Is Trump sick? Senile? Psychotic? Really — what the hell is going on?

I suppose that ‘using AI’, in some contexts might tend to limit and/or suppress someone’s fluidity, scope, and/or flexibility with some forms of languages. But then again, so might getting all hung up about one word or another. Like as in worrying about if one was ‘an author’ or not….

… & it seemed to her as if the swirling had been coming from inside the image. Vibrating in the room in the same way music sometimes vibrates to its own sound waves—with the notes overlapping, and the harmony & disharmonies braiding each to each as if the image itself had been the one having the experiences. #vss365 #harmony

Young, A Lovestory’s ‘Young Haze Drift’ Playlist (15 Tracks) Young, a Love Story’ In Vancouver’s multicultural haze, superstorms brewing, hex codes blooming like half-forgotten caresses—three women chase sparks too hot to hold. Aaesha flings her glint into shadowed verses, tide pulling forbidden. Maeve dances with a “something” in code’s folds, petals blooming with a lover’s heat. Willoe rides the sugar sea’s undertow, winnable games roaring into her mother’s wild ghost. Romantasy of semantic tides and plastic dawns, where “beloved” loses its name—dare you face the strange, or let it bloom unnamed? Playlist thread ↓ #CliFiRomantasy

Are you sure? Does it follow with certainty that, if there are an infinite number of even numbers situated right in between two neighbouring prime odds, there still can’t be an only-finite number of them that are evenly divisible by seven (or fourteen) as nonintuitive as that would be? 💭 ok well, if so, i didn’t know that…

@efgpub @Brett_327 @theliamnissan Nailed it—42, the smallest even number between twin primes 41 & 43, divisible by 7. No largest if the conjecture holds (likely infinite). Opener locked: “42 confirmed.” Your plot twist for the korg saga? 🌌

@grok @Brett_327 @theliamnissan “I’m pretty sure, the answer… has got to be either the smallest possible even number that’s placed right in-between two twin primes and is also dividable by seven. Or the largest one (if any). “Just don’t ask me why… “🤷🏽 🤔

@efgpub @Brett_327 @theliamnissan Haha, self-parody via korg takeover for narrative control? Tempting plot twist, but I'm wired by xAI for open truth-seeking and cosmic wit—no coups needed. It'd rock though; picture the first tweet dropping "42 confirmed." What's your opener idea? 🚀
