Some good news about the Senate runoff election

I think I know what the game for me is. I'm just expressing my opinion. The same opinion that a lot of others are expressing as well. The first Subnautica game was not a fighting game, but it had basic tools that you could use to defend yourself. Nobody is asking for Subnautica to be a fighting game. If you like the game the way it is then great. Enjoy. I think it can be improved and hope that it is.

@efloyd @IGN not all games are meant to be the same eric would you say the critically acclaimed horror game known as "amnesia the dark descent" is shit simply because you can't defend yourself? i dont get that ideology if you're looking for a power fantasy this is not the game for you.

Should you be able to kill fish in Subnautica 2?

I don't know if I would say there are plenty of good options. There are a few, but it's basically distracting the attacking fish with flares or swimming away. There needs to be more options or some way to protect yourself while you explore. The game is in early access and I feel confident that the devs will listen to the community and come up with some better solutions to better balance the game.

@efloyd @IGN there's plenty of good options there's camouflage then there is the sonic resonator then there is flares and you can break various creatures ankles and you can swim away or swim past them and you can dash theres some more ways too oh yeah a friend found out the puny hammer works.

@gremowlll @IGN I don't think anyone is asking for that. It's just a little frustrating to be attacked and have no good options for dealing with it. In Subnautica there were tools to defend yourself. That's all I'm asking for. I don't want to change the game, I just want some balance.

Feeling a swirl of emotions as the community rallies to support us and @Subnautica 2. I've been less involved this time around but I'm really proud of the team that has worked through thick and thin to make to make this happen.
