A CLOSER LOOK AT THE STATEMENT…AND THE CONTEXT Atty. Reynold Munsayac strongly rejected the circulating claims, saying: “The concocted story is preposterous… I do not know him personally and never had any dealings with him. My interaction with the group ISIP is limited to Atty. Ryan Quilala.” It’s a firm denial. But firm denials have to match firm facts. The allegations he is rejecting are not random chismis. They are found in a sworn affidavit by Ramil Madriaga - made under oath. That alone calls for a clear, detailed, and consistent explanation. Then there’s the visual evidence. While Atty. Munsayac insists he has “no dealings” with Madriaga, photos have surfaced showing him receiving a certificate from ISIP - certificate bearing Madriaga’s signature. That does not automatically prove wrongdoing. But it does make a blanket denial harder to reconcile with what the public can actually see. When an affidavit, documents, and photos point in one direction while a categorical denial points in another, the inconsistency is hard to ignore. Calling the story “preposterous” may sound strong, but it does not close the gaps. Right now, the statement and the available evidence are telling two different stories. In moments like this, credibility is not defended by dismissing allegations. It is earned by addressing the details that do not add up. The truth does not fear documentation. And the public will not be satisfied with anything less than an explanation that finally makes all the pieces fit.

#tatakDuterte
