@EmityEbere @ifedayo_johnson Thanks for taking the EF SET. The speaking part isn't sensitive to accent, as it was trained on data from a huge range of English speakers. However, the transcription of what is spoken is then scored on over 100 metrics and some of those sit atop US/UK grammar/vocab norms

So I decided to try the English Test without practice this morning. Scored 59. Kudos to @ifedayo_johnson Bro this test is simple yet heard. The only flaw I see is that they are expecting use their accent in the voicing. Parts. I'll give it a try again cert.efset.org/en/score/4skil…

@satoshinato Unfortunately that's our malicious traffic blocker (supplied by Amazon) that's catching you by mistake. Usually just waiting a bit and trying again later sorts it out. I'm sorry you've been caught up in it.

@LuisaMatumona Thanks for your kind words, and for sharing this suggestion. As you know, your students' results can be downloaded from the admin interface. Most organizations do testing on an ongoing basis, so it wouldn't be easy to know when to send them an email.

@EFSET I love your group testing. I use it to test my students. As an organization, I would love to see a feature where the detailed report and certificate are sent directly to the center's email address for internal analysis.

@Buitringhond I'm sorry to hear that. The field is only asking for your birth year, for example 1997

@dugumakaz1 There's no way to retreive the certificate of someone else (ie a certificate associated with an email you do not control)

@French2dot0 I'm sorry you had an error in your test session. Did it happen when the writing section timed out? If so, that bug has been reported by others and we're working on a fix. If that's not what happened, please email info@efset.org with the details so we can investigate

@EFSET i tried to pass the test but il didn't got through the written part and after a couple of minutes waiting i came back to the 4-skill first page, can you look what happened ?

@Could_you_plz The setup to offer a paid service is unfortunately complicated given how many countries we offer the test in (all of them) and would require a bigger support team than what we have. If you want to take a test regularly, Duolingo offers an online English test for a fee

This new test is still free of course, but it's not free for us to administer, so you'll be limited to 1 test every 90 days. Take it when you're in a good place and ready to do your best. efset.org/4-skill/

The EF SET now includes speaking and writing tests! Key details: - the 2 skill test (just listening and reading) is still available - your existing EF SET Certificate isn't going anywhere, but if you decide to take the 4 skill test, it will be updated to reflect that
