@UKRI_News @adriana_lowe @ARIES_DTP @NERCscience The real issue is @NERCscience not paying a liveable stipends - the email was sent because ARIES recognises PhD students are struggling financially but they need more money from NERC to help us!

Don't really know whether to laugh or cry. What's even worse is @UKRI_News covering their backs in the replies. Instead of spending public money on defending themselves maybe they could raise our stipends with current inflation? Just a thought?
