Today is a very special day for the Colaiste as the inaugural Gerard O Brien Memorial blitz is being held. Mr O Brien was Principal from 1999 to 2015 &sadly passed away in 2021, his memory is very special to us here in Colaiste - Sincere thanks to all supporting this event

Don't confuse fear with respect. Doing something because we fear someone is manipulation, not respect. Respect comes from safety. It's given when a person shows they're emotionally stable and trustworthy.

This workshop will explore the macro and micro levels of narrative writing. How the use of paired texts such as Cinderella and Eveline can be used to develop essential knowledge, and how sentence construction can be scaffolded using the grammar-for-writing approach. @INOTEnews

We are looking forward to exploring how short stories can be paired to deepen students' understanding of narrative and we will also explore how film can be used to support students' narrative writing during our workshops.
