Wife and I found an amazing house today on 2 acres of land in a very nice neighborhood. Significant upgrade from our current home/yard/hood. The kiddos want to veto it because they would have to switch elementary schools. They are in 2nd grade and kindergarten. Dad advice?

@jonstewart Mind not blown. Money (gold, USD, and now bitcoin), has been used for doing bad things for centuries, why would bitcoin be any different. Sounds like you’re more interested in centralized digital currency that can monitored and controlled. I think they have that in China

My best friend is 36 years old. His wife used to be gorgeous, but she’s gained over 100 lbs since having their two kids. He says he loves her regardless, but it’s clear she’s making no effort whatsoever to become attractive again. How can I convince her that he can do better?

@benjamincowen @grok what are gold and bitcoin’s total returns year to date starting from their 2017 high respectively? What does that translate to in regards to ARR?

For years, Gold bugs laughed at Bitcoiners on 30% drops and said "sOmE sToRe Of VaLuE" Then Gold dropped 30% and Bitcoiners said the same thing back. The truth is that whether you bought BTC or Gold in late 2017, your return is about the same today. But I guess it's more fun for both sides to just throw shade back and forth

Earlier today, a user attempted to buy AAVE using $50M USDT through the Aave interface. Given the unusually large size of the single order, the Aave interface, like most trading interfaces, warned the user about extraordinary slippage and required confirmation via a checkbox. The user confirmed the warning on their mobile device and proceeded with the swap, accepting the high slippage, which ultimately resulted in receiving only 324 AAVE in return. The transaction could not be moved forward without the user explicitly accepting the risk through the confirmation checkbox. The CoW Swap routers functioned as intended, and the integration followed standard industry practices. However, while the user was able to proceed with the swap, the final outcome was clearly far from optimal. Events like this do occur in DeFi, but the scale of this transaction was significantly larger than what is typically seen in the space. We sympathize with the user and will try to make a contact with the user and we will return $600K in fees collected from the transaction. The key takeaway is that while DeFi should remain open and permissionless, allowing users to perform transactions freely, there are additional guardrails the industry can build to better protect users. Our team will be investigating ways to improve these safeguards going forward.

I continue to reuse this meme until the narrative of govt pumping crypto catches up to reality. Honestly WHO CARES if they think "blockchain" and "cryptocurrency" is a priority if they're building all their own fences and rails instead of becoming Monad and Blast users? JPM is using LINK and the token has no bid. Blackrock's RWA coin ONDO has no bid. Stablecoins are now a tool of statecraft and Ethereum has no bid. Wake up folks.

This just happened and it's SUPER bullish for Crypto. The White House just released President Trump’s new Cyber Strategy for America The report directly positions cryptocurrency and blockchain as strategic technologies the U.S. must secure and lead globally. Key highlights: • Crypto is now being framed alongside AI, quantum computing, and cybersecurity as critical infrastructure for the future economy • The administration also commits to removing burdensome regulations so industry can innovate faster in emerging technologies. • The strategy explicitly supports securing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies as part of protecting U.S. innovation and leadership. Translation: Blockchain is now being placed in the same strategic class as AI and quantum computing. It’s national strategic infrastructure the US will protect, secure, and build around - for the future. While everyone complains about a 3% drop... The most important - and insanely bullish - moves are happening behind the scenes.

@fxevolution Let’s see tomorrow, but if the sell off continues, that usually means exit liquidity selling into frenzy buying. Probably ends badly in the short term. If $NVDA is being takin to the cleaners, the general market sentiment for the AI trade is over for now

Jensen Huang on earnings: “In this new world of AI, compute equals revenues.” Read that properly. This is the hardware phase continuing. Power. Chips. Cooling. Grid load. Capex. $300–400B per year is shifting from traditional software & PCs → into AI infrastructure. This looks far more like an industrial build-out than a software upgrade. Compute scales revenue. But here’s the part nobody wants to talk about yet: At some point Wall Street is going to ask is all of this actually profitable for the companies doing the buying? Because Nvidia selling shovels is one thing. The miners earning a return on that capex is another. Different cycle. Different risks.

@dgt10011 @grok based on the text in the image above, is it safe to assume that the bitcoin ETF’s are simply a “honey pot” to create liquidity pools to than sell option strategy’s around? It seems like no actually bitcoin is being purchased when people buy $IBIT or $FBTC.

Everyone is asking: "Is Jane Street why Bitcoin isn't at $150k?" As expected, the answer is trickier than the question. But it's also more structurally unsettling than the conspiracy theory itself—and once you understand the actual mechanics, you won't be able to unsee them👇
