The Bruins barely snuck into the playoffs, they weren’t a Stanley cup team this year. It’s not being upset, it’s Buffalo fans who barely understand playoff hockey suggesting that Benson wasn’t trying to injure a player up 3 with 90 seconds left when they’re already advancing. It’s a dirty play from Benson. Talking about Brad Marchand and him being a rat in the past doesn’t change that at all. Both things can be true. Boston fans knew what Marchand was and loved him for it anyways. We didn’t pretend he wasn’t a dirty player.
