@EigenLenk I got mine discounted as it's last gen but still powerful. Played a bit of cyberpunk to test the thing, but it's for dev so mostly using unreal engine. Good luck with it! 🤘

@eigenbom Yoooo! What are the odds? Tower was probably a smarter choice, but I know nothing of them so it would've been a much longer research project. The one I got is plenty powerful and looks very understated for gaming laptops (was key for me). What have you been playing?

My 13(!) year old Dell laptop is finally starting to give up. Splurged a bit and got a new Lenovo Legion Pro 7 with RTX5080. Since it will be my main gamedev and gaming for the next 10 years (I hope), it makes sense to spend a bit. Waiting to go and pick it up from the store.

The reception of MoonQuest has been pretty divided. Some seem to really enjoy it while others find it listless. I agree with both: there are pockets of fun but the game doesn't steer you or provide much sense of progression. The game design took a backseat to the engineering...

@lefticus Loved the c64. I'm never going back, but would love a modern take on it.

@eigenbom When I was ~10 years old I had a dream about use a sub-notebook/netbook size Commodore 64. This was in like 1987 time frame. I keep meaning to repurpose some old laptop to just boot straight into a C64 emulator.
