When we switched @itchio's image hosting over to cloudflare we got a bunch of automated CSAM reports. All for images of gray grids

Major updates on itch DO work I pushed the new alpha there and there is a lot of organic views again. Also it leads to 2-3x more wishlists daily. So always include wishlist CTA there :) Btw, despite having UTM set up, Steam still shows almost nothing, no idea why

@C2UXN3T @itchio Nope, I replied to all the emails asking for a human to get back to me but no one ever followed up. My understanding is that the ML model used to classify the content was overtrained on actual CSAM images that overlayed a grid on the material to try to avoid detection

@moonscript @itchio Was there ever an explanation given from Cloudflare about this? I'm curious how a false positive could happen with textures like this. Almost sounds like it's somehow close enough to a fingerprint match for whatever reason but those hashes shouldn't flag that system.

@Cobalt__Dragon @itchio Indirectly, it was a code bug when migrating some logic involving gifs, wasn't specific to Cloudflare.
