@einailens Thank you so much Marwa. You stated this beautifully.🩷 This is exactly the loop I got trapped in for years-- so much healing work centres around trying to attain almost biblical-like behaviour. I'm happy, I'm healthy & I'm not Jesus.😅

You can create a beautiful life now without being happy and grateful for all the damaging & destructive things that happened to you. Healing isn't about attaining sainthood or monk status. You can wish those things never happened to you, not feel positive about them & fully heal.

Are we able to someday reach a state where we can create a space in which we genuinely encourage each other without any ulterior intentions? Just PURE encouragement? I wonder 💭

@Theholisticpsyc Healing is a lifelong journey. With each phase, one layer unfolds while another wilts. It's important to consciously ensure we're not recreating our past in the present by staying in a constant state of wanting to fix everything and being aware while focusing on moving forward.

@chinesegon That your full-time job can actually be your fuel time, giving you the space to fully immerse yourself in building and slowly growing your side projects until they're sturdy enough to quit. And you shall bear the full sweetness of your patience in a more liberating way.

@CodexABQ Quality human beings. The ones who are doing their best crafting the life they want. The ones that are committed to their goals and are showing up no matter the circumstances. The ones who are genuinely happy and rooting for you. The ones who are real.

@LeilaHormozi Confidence comes from within—that's our power. Chasing the outer world for fulfillment leads to an endless pursuit of our essence externally, which is exhausting. Holding onto our power and fueling it internally makes us steadfast.

You don’t gain confidence through the public praise you receive from strangers. You become confident by the relentless, teeth gritting, stomach turning work you do in private.

It takes great willpower, confidence, and determination to rise from despair and keep going instead of giving up. Pat yourself on the back and be kind to your soul for choosing to stand up despite the odds.

I’m 24. I used to be stressed out of my mind and wasted years of my life making the wrong decisions. Then I spent 100+ hours studying Charlie Munger’s letters to learn his mental models on decision making. Here’s what I found:
