Suarez was never on my radar. He was one of the only FA available that could help so I was curious to see if they'd jump on a short term deal but bad defense AND striking out more than anyone is a bad combo. Love the Power but the full package wasn't what they need.

The Red Sox ranked 9th on June 15th in home runs. Once they traded Rafael Devers, they ranked 23rd in the long ball. Not replacing Devers’ bat is beyond evident in October. I know Roman Anthony isn’t playing, but this team desperately needs legit sluggers.
