@GretchenAMcC I actually said something like "it's so much nicer now that it's snown" yesterday and then had a mild existential crisis while I tried to figure out if it's even a word.
while we're at it, show shew shown
btw i found a really great patch for eternal punishment that changes all character names to the original japanese ones and it also renames the skills so they match innocent sin
I made a patch for #p2ep for ps1 that brings it more in line with the innocent sin PSP version, please try it out and let me know if anything needs to be fixed! #persona#megatenreddit.com/r/PERSoNA/comm…
@bananders@fionajvoss@LeonDerczynski@towo@GretchenAMcC Finnish uses puoli (half) the same way as swedish with numbers. it's also correct to say puolitoista where toinen is second/another in the partitive for 1½. numbers 11-19 follow the pattern of yksitoista, kaksitoista, etc (one second, two second)
@fionajvoss@LeonDerczynski@towo@GretchenAMcC Scandinavian languages have a tradition that "half + number" means a half less than the number.
We have the somewhat archaic "halvannan" meaning 1½ ("half another").
We have it in the halfhours of the clock. English "half past two" is "halv tre" ("half three") in Swedish.
Last week I introduced a bill to get dirty money out of our political system.
It would stop corporations from political spending for ten years after being convicted of a crime. Corporations that violate the law shouldn’t be able to corrupt our democracy with dirty money.
