At the @InsDevForum today, I emphasized the importance of effective, concrete partnerships btw @WorldBank Group & private sector - starting with the insurance industry - to build long-term resilience. I welcomed joint initiatives for de-risking in low- & middle-income countries.

Very constructive meeting with the Chairman, the SG and Management of the Insurance Development Forum. The #IDF is a successful development #Partnership, bringing together the insurance industry, @UNDP, @MIGA, the @WorldBank and others. We need more such initiatives! #Together
