It is so exhausting when people see an outward ease you present in public and do not understand how much energy it takes because you are an introvert and they tell you you are an extrovert and you just have to give up trying to get them to understand. 😵‍💫

In the elevator a guy got in with us, my wife said to him, “so it’s pretty crazy here today isn’t it?” He said “this city has been crazy for 200 years, it’s never normal here.”

We arrived at Penn Station and had a torturous cab ride to our hotel on the Avenue of the Americas. There was a Dominican parade going on and it caused a huge amount of traffic chaos. The cab drivers in this city amaze me with their ability to handle the incredible traffic chaos.

We’re in the Syracuse train station waiting for the train to NYC.
