My mother used to work there in the 80’s. She worked the night shifts and brought me with her - I was 10 years old. Every night people would sit around the counter for hours, especially the local cops, and they’d talk and laugh and were so friendly and generous. It was like family. I helped make donuts, sometimes served, cleaned up and was even given tips. The owners were awesome and they’d hang out with their employers after hours, they even a baseball team. It was all so great. I miss how it used to be. Cannot find even anything remotely close to that atmosphere. It’s all disappeared. And sadly, probably forever.

In my 20s, I worked at Tim Hortons for about 6 years. I started out as a cashier and worked my way up to Assistant manager. Our owner and boss was probably one of the best bosses I've ever had. He was good to his employees, paid us fairly, and even gave us health benefits. He's now retired and living his best life with his beautiful wife. Thank you, John, for always being a great boss and owner. I will always remember Tim Hortons like that. It's now been over 8 years since I've been to Tim Hortons as it's not the same. It's sad and disgusting that something that was considered a Canadian staple has turned into the shittiest fast food restaurant due to mass immigration and immigration work programs. These restaurants have been destroyed.

My heart is broken. My very good friend ‘Hap’ Parnaby has passed away. His widow Lynda was by his side near their home. Hap was Tayler Parnaby. There’s another first name but he’d be pissed if I told you. His career in broadcasting is legend.
