Today, we inaugurated the new in-flight catering facility of Tamam, part of the EL AL Group - one of the most advanced facilities in the world and the largest of its kind in kosher airline catering.
The new facility, nearly twice the size of the previous one, will enable the production of up to approximately 50,000 meals per day, almost double the previous production capacity.
We continue to invest in enhancing the travel experience, with the understanding that every detail is part of the overall journey. The new facility will allow us to expand the variety of meals served onboard, further improve product quality, and elevate the culinary standard for EL AL passengers.
The transition to full operations at the new facility will take place gradually over the coming months.
Behind every meal served onboard are dedicated people, advanced technologies, and careful attention to the smallest details - all to continue providing a thoughtful and high-quality service experience at 30,000 feet.

After months of extensive preparation and dedicated work, the Israeli delegation to the #Eurovision Song Contest took off earlier this morning together with Noam Betan, aboard an EL AL flight to Vienna, Austria. In a challenging and complex period, representing the State of Israel with dignity carries profound significance. Best of luck, Noam.

We are excited to launch onboard internet service on our flights to Thailand for the first time.
Starting today, the service will be gradually rolled out on flights to Bangkok and Phuket, allowing you to stay connected, available and up to date even while in the air.
This evening, the first pilot flights will take off. As part of the pilot, passengers on select flights will receive a complimentary personal access code in advance, enabling them to connect during the flight.
At a later stage, three internet packages will be available for purchase, similar to the service currently offered on flights to the United States and Europe.
Please note: Temporary service interruptions may occur when flying over India, in accordance with local regulatory restrictions. The connection will resume automatically afterward.
We will continue to enhance the in-flight experience and expand our onboard internet service on flights to Thailand, so you can stay connected at all times.

Not actors.
The people featured in our commercials are real members of our cabin and flight crew.
They’re the ones who welcome you before takeoff, care for you at 30,000 feet, and help bring you home.
Each has their own story, dreams, favorite destinations, and a genuine passion for what they do.
Meet some of them:
Sharon Levy, 56, Boeing 787/777 Captain for the past 26 years.
From a young age, he knew he wanted to fly. He loves the variety that comes with the profession, the people he meets along the way, and what he calls “the office with the most beautiful view in the world.” His favorite destination is Los Angeles.
Eldad Golub, 34, Senior Flight Attendant for the past 5 years.
His connection with people and his desire to turn every flight into a memorable experience are what led him to the profession. For him, service and attention to detail are part of a daily mission. His favorite destination is Tokyo.
Yaara Sobol, 23, Flight Attendant for the past 1.5 years.
Her dream of becoming a flight attendant began in childhood, inspired by her older sister. Beyond flying, she also creates lifestyle and travel content. Her favorite destination is New York.
Eran Carasso, 53, Senior Flight Attendant for the past 3.5 years.
For him, the job is first and foremost about human connection. He loves meeting new people, helping others, and being there for passengers throughout their journey. Between flights, he is also involved in educational work with Yad Vashem and leads educational trips to Poland. His favorite destination is Boston.

After more than a decade, we are returning to South America and launching a non-stop flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
We will operate two weekly flights using our new and advanced Dreamliner aircraft, featuring three classes of service - Economy, Premium, and Business. Flight duration is expected to be approximately 16.5 hours outbound from Israel and 15.5 hours on the return. Ticket sales for this route are expected to open during the month of May.
Through our codeshare partner Aerolíneas Argentinas, as well as additional partnerships, we will offer onward flights to gateways across the continent from Buenos Aires, alongside connections to other destinations in South America via a variety of European gateways.
This is a significant step in strengthening the connection between Israel and South America, particularly with the Jewish community in Argentina, which is the fifth largest in the world and currently the largest without direct flights to Israel.

Captain Arik Czaczkes, who has been a pilot at EL AL for nearly 25 years, recently embarked on a deeply personal journey: accompanying his mother, a Holocaust survivor, back to Auschwitz.
The little girl who once hid in a cellar in order to survive returned there today as a mother of seven, a grandmother to a large family, and a woman who has carried one simple word with her throughout the years: we won.
Arik grew up in a home where memory was part of everyday life, with a father who fought and a mother who survived. Over the years, he has carried their story with him everywhere, including into the cockpit. In the moments when he lands an EL AL aircraft, with the Israeli flag on its tail, on European soil, he is not only a pilot, but also the son of Holocaust survivors who deeply feels the meaning of freedom and of having a homeland.
And today, standing beside his mother, that little girl from the cellar, seeing her aboard an Israeli aircraft, wrapped in the Israeli flag, he knows: this is our story. To continue, to rebuild, and to remember where we came from.

Following a decision by the state authorities, an emergency flight schedule is currently still in effect. At this time, we are operating a limited number of flights with passenger quantity restrictions to several gateways: New York (JFK and EWR), Los Angeles, Miami, Bangkok, London, Paris, Rome, and Athens. As of now, inbound flights to Israel from these gateways are operating without passenger quantity restrictions.
All regular flights that were scheduled prior to the start of Operation Roaring Lion planned to depart Israel through April 18, as well as their relevant return flights, have been canceled.
Due to the limited number of available seats, passengers awaiting reassignment to our emergency flights are being prioritized based on original ticket issue date and humanitarian and medical cases. An estimated assignment timeframe for outbound flights from Israel is available in the “Manage Booking” section on the EL AL website.
Ticket sales for outbound flights from Israel are closed through April 18. Inbound flights are currently available for purchase subject to seat availability.
Customers holding tickets purchased by February 28, for flights originally scheduled to depart through April 25, may cancel their flight and receive a credit voucher for future use.
Customers whose flights have been canceled due to the security situation are entitled to receive a refund or a voucher.
For tickets purchased through a travel agent, cancellations must be handled directly with the travel agent.
