I understand people criticizing Carrick for the starting lineup but 9 of that starting 11 picked itself because he had no other options. Ugarte is obviously not good enough for Utd and he’s a liability in that midfield but none of the academy kids in MF look ready. I’m certain if Carrick had another option he wouldn’t play him.
