@MelissaLMRogers Leave it to the Liberals to implement a “Housing Decelerator Fund” at a cost of $4.4 billion (so far) 😂 Incompetent boobs.

Justin Trudeau and now Mark Carney have both told Canadians to boycott America. Now Justin Trudeau is spending most of his time down there and 93% of Mark Carney’s personal investments are in the United States of America. How stupid can Canadians be? This is getting sad.

@GG37374104 Allow me to explain in Canadian terms: Losing hockey teams can only blame factors for so long until they need to fire the GM/coach to shake things up. Might not be all their fault, but at some point a change is needed.

I see some people who claim to be Conservatives calling for Pierre to be replaced. Since I no longer know who’s on what side when it comes to MPS, how do I know if these people are trying to help or hurt the CPC?

@joshryanjames Because being anti-Trump is the keystone of Liberal strategy right now. And it’s working because Canadians are morons.

@lucyhargreaves4 The problem is a large percentage of Canadian voters are not intelligent enough to understand why this is bad.

this kind of thing drives me crazy. $250M spent over 8 years on a failed program that <5% of doctors ever used it's really no wonder many ppl are losing faith in our democracy. we run programs like this for years, no one has to answer for them, and when someone finally asks what is a completely reasonable question, they get orwellian talking points instead of answers this level of obfuscation is embarrassing no government wants to admt they made a mistake, but it would be easy for them to do so in this case. they are, by their own definition, a "new government". instead of digging a deeper hole, why not share the contract, hold the public servants involved accountable, and share lessons? would build way more trust
Matt Strauss@strauss_matt

What is even the point of Parliament? At Health Committee, we asked to see the PrescribeIT contracts, in which the Liberals blew $250 million on NOTHING.   But Mark Carney’s Chief Filibuster Officer spent 2 hours talking to prevent us from seeing it. I asked why at Question Period, but the Chief Filibuster Officer took the question and…. Filibustered. That’s why I went to ask again tonight in the House:

I tried to rent AI computing power in Canada. G7 country. World-class research labs. Billions in policy commitments. Google Cloud Montreal's best chip was released in 2017. Iowa has more AI GPUs than all of Canada combined. I checked every major provider. Same story. The chips are either outdated or not in Canada. You know who actually has current hardware in Toronto? DigitalOcean. The company known for $5 servers. A trillion-dollar company gave Canada a 2017 chip. A company a fraction of its size actually showed up. Canada talks about AI sovereignty every week. but when you try to build here - there's no hardware. The ambition is real. The hardware is not.

@alleria_eh I suspect it’s in the same place as Liberal voter outrage for broken election promises, poor economic performance, unbalanced budgets, ballooned deficit, etc. Let us know if you find either of them.

In the span of a year, Mark Carney has morphed into a world leader willing to lay out a plan for small powers like Canada to collaborate and counter the economic might of the U.S. and China. He has also surprised Canada as a smooth political operator. on.wsj.com/4crrclo

So, I am pretty new to journalism, and maybe being an outsider with imposter syndrome makes me less complacent, but there are at least two things that I've noticed about how Canadian media and the oppostion seem to be satisfied with being given little to no information on obviously important topics. 1. No one seemed interested in asking what was happening with trade deals with U.S. when we weren't getting any information. 2. No one thought it was obvious to ask/report on/leak to the press who the poachers were and what they were offering? Seriously...
