@ScottPresler He never said the word “non-binary” you are putting words in his mouth. A LOT of biblical scholars and priests/pastors say that god is genderless. They believe this cause god made us in his image, and he created man AND WOMAN. also maybe you should read the first amendment.

I FOUND IT! Here’s the video of democrat James Talarico calling God non-binary. “God is both masculine & feminine & everything in between.” In the same breath, Talarico said, “[Trans children] are perfect, beautiful, & they are sacred.” No, Talarico. God isn’t non-binary.

You're calling someone an idiot while responding to something and not looking at the context... Here is what you responded to: Scott: "Talarico said 'God is non-binary'" Ardiel: "You're a liar he never said that!" Scott: "Here is proof he said 'God is non-binary'" You: "Non binary is literally a scientific term you moron" 😅😅😅

@ScottPresler @RDL0013 Non binary is literally a scientific term you moron. It has nothing to do with Trans culture wars. Theological scholars & seminary intellectuals agree God transcends human limitations & has no physical body and therefore transcends the human concept of sex. You are an idiot

Wow. First off, 'thousands of years of translations done by different cultures who put their spin on it'. Look up the transmission history of the bible. It has not been manipulated and majorly changed over time. We have fragments that are 1800+ years old and full copies that are 1500+ years old. Guess what? It was the same message then that it is now. No big conspiracy. Yes, people have manipulated others and used God's word for evil. Guess who killed the most people in the 20th century? Atheist regimes. And what is this about cave paintings and ancestors? So you do believe in spiritual things but only the ones written on stone rather than paper? Believe what you want but don't lie about the history of manuscripts. It makes you look like a fool.

The good ole god subject. 20yrs after this even so called happened, a man has a vision who wasn’t even there and tells what he saw. 70years after that again and a different guy. 1000s of years of translations done by different cultures who put their spin on it to fit their narratives and honestly nobody to know if it’s even close to one word being correct. Then the good ole church edits it and decides what’s to be told most of which has zero proof to any truth. Convenient how rich they have become as an organization. They can judge, condemn, steal land that they want, kill whoever they want and alllll in the name of their “loving god” and yall fall to your knees for this evil. When it’s in all of us. We don’t need the “church” we dont need their book or their priest or pope! There is no hell no heaven and have the ability to connect with one anothers energy , the earths , our ancestors because we are all just energy so when we die we become part of it. We knew this at one time . It’s written on walls on ancient ruins everywhere. Your energy is so dark Erika you blend right into their organization. Evil…

@NBASongz @RealHarryFlash @VivekGRamaswamy Malik malik malik... the question is: Is it okay to present a known lie as a 'fact'? Saying 'but Trump' has nothing to do with that question unless your claim is "the other side does it therefore it's okay for my side to do it".

@RealHarryFlash @VivekGRamaswamy Trump l presents as the fact that the 2020 election was rigged, which is a fucking disgusting lie that confirms he hates America and democracy itself. But you don’t mind that at all. In fact, you like it. You might even be dumb enough to believe it.

This is obviously 100% fake, originally fabricated by a leftist blogger with mental health issues. On one hand, I really didn’t want to respond because it’s so dumb. On the other hand, it’s Exhibit A of how toxic politics works & it happens often enough that I feel some obligation to lift the curtain on how the game is played. So here goes: I’m a Cavs fan. Love going to their games, always have, I’ve been going for decades. My wife and I bought courtside tickets for Game 4 against the Knicks, and our team got smoked. It was brutal. The two of us watched the game, face in hands, in disbelief and dejection during the second half, then peaced out right after the buzzer straight to our car (accompanied by state-provided security the entire time). No, we did not stick around to watch the Knicks celebrate their romping. There is literally no amount of money on Earth you could have paid me to sit around and watch them collect their Eastern Conference trophy, let alone watch them parade off the court to their locker room. A sharp poke in the eye would’ve been more pleasant. But then, a left-wing Ohio blogger with mental health issues publishes that not only did I wait until after the ceremony, but that I lingered around & tried to enter the Knicks’ locker room after the game, and told them I wanted “welcome” them to Ohio. This is nuts! He also published other vivid details. Those were also 100% nuts. But here’s how the game is played. Ohio Democrats then repeatedly boosted the so-called “story” on social media, and the Daily Beast & others write “news” stories about it. Then hundreds of others cite the Daily Beast’s reporting and literally turn their fantasy into “truth." It’s worth observing the incentive that political opponents would have to fabricate an anonymous “tip” to a random blogger with mental issues who has absolutely no standards for publication, then to amplify the “stories” after they’re written. The whole thing is dumb, to be clear. But it’s dirty, it happens repeatedly, and the public is better off knowing about it. It’s why sane people rarely go into politics. Anyone who does should probably have their own head checked out (including me). My team sensibly told me to not to dignify it by commenting on it. Politically, they’re probably right. But if every leader were to follow that advice, it rewards the incentives for bad actors to lie not just about me, but about others in the future too. Call me idealistic, but I don’t think that’s how things are supposed to work.

"Because they don't worship the same as you" - Tell me you've never watched a single one of Mike Winger's videos without telling me... What Mike has done is exposed people who were doing things like faking prophecy, lying about ministry funds, etc. What is your proposition for what should be done with these people Matt? Do you dream of a church that tolerates corruption?

@Acts17David @WayPeaceful I wonder if it's like this: You're cut off from music if you refuse to admire great musical performances and musicians. Veneration is not worship, in this analogy it's the equivalent of admiring great art. You can't enjoy music in the abstract. Looking forward to more talks!

Disagree, I don't think this is a big sticking point for most protestants. Though I don't agree with how orthos and caths define iconography or veneration, its more like a quirk to me than a major theological error. I think EO has far bigger problems than iconography.

@RojanDominic @MikeWingerii You have some serious studying to do if you think the Reformation was started because the Reformers were 'self-righteousness'. On the contrary they were preaching that no one is righteous and we are incapable of even contributing to our salvation. It is all God.

You are simply ignorant if you think all EO are united and all Protestants are hopelessly disunified. You know that Protestants from all denominations will preach the gospel together? You know most of them don't condemn each other to hell for disagreeing about non-essential doctrines? As a lifelong Protestant I have been to many churches of different denominations. We have a shared faith in Christ. I believe you also have a shared faith in Christ. However, you've been told it's evil to not bow to icons (something foreign to the early church) and many other things that have been added to your church. Ignatius, Augustine, even John of Damascus didn't believe exactly what any of your Eastern Orthodox churches believe today. My advice is to humble yourself and look at the world honestly. Protestants are the ones converting Muslims, Hindus, and others to Christ. Do you HONESTLY think the early church looked like any of the EO churches do today? If so, great, then start spreading the gospel in the difficult places like Protestants are because 'the harvest is ready and the workers are few'.

It is not the same. There is one Orthodox Church and it does not matter where I go the core theology remains essentially the same, liturgy is the same. I can go to a Greek or Russian church and the liturgy can be in Slavonic or Greek and I can still follow because I know the liturgy. We are One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church/ As for the Latins they are the mother of harlots and the first Protestant. She gave birth to them all.

It's weird how they think the Bible is so hopelessly unclear and so thoroughly confusing that it can't be understood without a church telling you what it means. Why is the church so clear but the Bible so unclear?

@HaydenYate9132 @Isaiah53John118 @Acts17David So what convinced you that Nicea II was an infallible council despite them using fake quotes in order to require believers to bow to and kiss icons? What convinced you that the filioque is so important that it's an issue of salvation? There are other things but we can start there

My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. ~1 Corinthians 1:11-17

Yes. Your original claim was that "no other group even pretends to maintain apostolic succession from St. Peter". This is false. Saying that believing in a singular bishop above the rest (something that was NOT practiced or claimed for the first centuries of Christianity) is required to have 'apostolic succession' is a separate claim.

No, the "Orthodox" deny there was any supremacy among the Apostles which is demonstrably false. They have no choice in his because they are separated from the demonstrable successor to St. Peter. The certainy of Peter's primacy is the source of my certainty in the Catholic Church's authority. If the Catholic Church has no such supremacy, then anything goes and there is no authority to check it.

The Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox both claim to maintain apostolic succession to ALL the apostles, not even just Peter. This is a basic well established and well known belief they have. I'm surprised you're so sure of Catholicism but don't even know what other churches believe.

??? You're not even interacting with my point. There are other groups including the Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox who make the same claim that they are the one true 2000+ year old church. What makes your claim any more valid than theirs? This is not normally how I would argue, but YOU'RE the one who is arguing that claiming to be 'bible only' is invalid since multiple groups who disagree with each other make that claim. Your same argumentation can just as easily be used against your claim that you are the one true church.

No one is saying that. But having that be your "ministry"??? No. Jesus and Paul called people out but it was in the midst of making disciples, proclaiming the gospel, healing, delivering. It was the pharisees saducees and zealots who had one sole purpose of crushing people that they viewed "heretics". 🥰
