We are not a cat household, but our 5 year old is obsessed with all cats. So...we took her to a "cat cafe" where you go get a beverage, maybe a cookie or two, and you hang out with cats. They're all up for adoption. idk if there is a puppy cafe, but we're 100% not going to that

@mattxiv Their Ulta presence is still strong. I think shuttering their stores and existing as a part of the greater retail space is a smart move. There are plenty of beauty brands that I swear by, without ever walking into a stand-alone store.

@VicVijayakumar I thought it would be a huge chore, but I only do it when I’m feeling like it, so my son never came to expect a daily “thing”. I like it a lot! The other day, he was frozen in our freezer and I told my son “he missed the North Pole”. He took 20 minutes picking him out.

When my kids learned about Elf on a Shelf, my plan was for the elf to very quickly meet an untimely end in the toilet bowl one day. Instead, my wife wrote a letter to Santa that elves are not welcome in our home, and in retrospect, yes that is a better plan.
