You don’t see dalmations too much these days. They were everywhere in media. It was pretty common to see them at dog parks/being walked. Now I haven’t seen one in probably a decade. Where the hell did they all go

I love that the bryant park woodcocks are going viral because there are few creatures that combine magic and idiocy so well but it bears mentioning that a lot of the birds don't make it out of the park alive. Each of these dots represents a woodcock killed by a window strike.

I hate being that person but this is a horrible environment for the chameleon. There is barely no space and the environment is completely horrible. The kid is not at fault but the parents are, please treat animals as pets and not accessories.

I'm tired of people not caring about animals like sharks, snakes and alligators because they aren't "cute". They are beautiful and amazing creatures, they barely attack humans and it also depends on the species. Please leave wild animals alone, don't shoot them.

#Krill Norway is deploying 30 ft (9 m) drones to locate areas of highest krill density in Antarctica. They're using AI, sonar, airborne drones and USVs (unmanned surface vehicles). Powerful AI predicts krill biomass hotspots 6 to 12 hours in advance, while VTOL drones confirm signals before vessel redeployment, which is predicted to increase daily krill catch by 22%. It's not just how much the trawlers take, but where. They'll be robbing the richest feeding grounds from the wildlife which depends on them.
