I wrote about the DNC & the @uncommittedmvmt's role as the Dems moral center of gravity based on their commitment to saving lives & defeating Trump. They're also echoing a tradition of moral defiance, one that civil rights giants like Fannie Lou Hamer would proudly recognize.

I wrote about the 2004 Pistons and their unlikely ascension that year, and what it meant to fans in the city who needed to imagine ourselves and our communities achieving everything we deserve. Grateful as always to be able to write about the city I love most.
