Romeo Doubs last year: 55 catches 724 yards 6 TDs Troy Franklin last year: 65 catches 709 yards 6 TDs Troy is 23 years old, Romeo is almost 26. Absolutely no reason for Broncos to dish out $17.5M/$20M per year for Doubs. Troy is also still ascending.

@jamesmerilatt I can’t understand how people are not irate that the Broncos have done nothing other than resigning a weak TE and an injury prone RB. We still have no playmakers at skill positions.

The Broncos were a three-and-out machine last season. Anyone who watched them knows that they struggled on offense most of the year. So to suggest that they don’t need to upgrade on that side of the ball is just reading the Dove Valley bulletpoints. Be a little objective!

@AllbrightNFL Problem is that we haven’t gotten better and we lost JFM. We had very clear deficiencies in the running game and a wr playmaker. No effort to improve in those areas.

Really interesting watching disappointed reaction from Broncos fans as they try to keep together a team that just went to the AFC championship game.

@Tyler_Polumbus No idea what they are thinking. I hate the idea of spending on RBs but Harvey and Badie were horrible in the running game and Dobbins is good for 6 games.

Broncos had 3 upgrade needs on offense entering Free Agency. RB TE and WR1. They now enter the draft with 3 needs for upgrades on offense. RB TE and WR1. Thoughts???

@DailyBroncos F. Let JFM go, have $ but try to be cheap on the RBs and bring back a RB who hasn’t played a full season and when he’s out we have no running game. Need a serious upgrade at ILB.

@DMacSportsCO We talk about how much $ we have to spend this offseason and we let key pieces go (JFM) and don’t go have to a top RB. Dobbins was great but is injury prone and we NO running game once he went down. Seems like we’re stagnant or declining.
