One of our interns sent me this note today before graduation. It stopped me for a moment. You never really know which words will stay with someone. Most of mentorship is just showing up, being honest, and giving people confidence before they fully have it themselves. Very proud of him, and grateful to have played a small part in his journey. 🙏

Sorry I haven't been on X, I will say I missed every single one of you. My account was permanently suspended, I appealed it was denied. I appealed everyday, cancelled my premium account to try and get their attention. That didn't work either. I did find out more accounts 1/2

@oncetravelled @EdgeCGroup I agree with this. I bought myself flowers, I felt I deserved them. I work hard and I love brightening my home with them. He got me flowers too, it was nice, but I don’t want anyone to feel obligated, I’d rather have random acts of kindness.

@EdgeCGroup Honestly? I don’t care about Valentines Day - it’s how a man treats you in everyday life that’s important. My love language is acts of service so someone making me cups of tea and putting out garbage and cooking sometimes without being asked is my idea of romance🙂

Ladies — honest question: If your man only buys you flowers on Valentine’s Day and never any other time of the year… are you genuinely appreciative? Or does it feel like obligation instead of intention?
