🎉 Our 1st @ERC_Research #MICROCODE article is out! Using a pre-registered survey experiment across 6 countries, @MichalSmetana3 @mVranka & @OndrejRosendorf find that formal alliances boost public support for military intervention globally, but the effect is smaller outside NATO.

15 months, 553 pages, 10 researchers, 2 institutions. Happy to share the results of our @prcprague & @SWPBerlin joint research project investigating nuclear signaling in the Russo-Ukrainian war. 1/2

1/ In 2022, my team and I were awarded a @CharlesUniPRG PRIMUS grant to establish the Experimental Lab for International Security Studies (ELISS) and do some cutting-edge experimental research in our field. The grant ends in December 2025. Our key findings during those 4 years:

1/2 Our new paper has just been published in @EJIntSec 🥰 We designed & fielded an original elite experiment to investigate when & how public opinion on nuclear weapon use shaped elite decision-making.

A fascinating new paper by @josh_byun & @carsonaust! (And I'm happy to see our recent experimental work w/ @ProfOnderco cited in APSR once again!)

Excited to share that my first academic article has been published in @European_Sec 🚀 It explores expert and media views on the implications of drone warfare and the "revolution" narrative, drawing on an original survey study. You can access the paper via tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
