@isaaccallan Hope it works better than the centralized medical equipment for home care.

NEW: The Ford government is beginning work to create a central, electronic system to manage medical records, a move it says is part of its broader plan to connect everyone with a primary care practitioner by 2029. #Onpoli globalnews.ca/news/11737748/…

@broadwaybabyto Agree. In Australia no one can mention VAD (voluntary assisted dying) until a patient asks. Then it’s a big process. People should have the option but it shouldn’t be in lieu of health care.

I’m about as far left as you can get… but we do have problems with MAiD in Canada. How do I know? It was “offered” to me in lieu of care. I’m disabled, I was alone, my conditions expensive. Yes I was allowed to say “No”, but no alternative care was offered. That’s coercion.
Marlene Robertson🇨🇦@marlene4719

For all the dumbass maga in the back: MAID is a voluntary, regulated medical procedure with very strict eligibility rules. It applies to those over 18 and who are mentally competent. It’s an option when you have a grievous and incurable medical condition that is causing intolerable suffering and pain.

@KNugent4118 Dud he not also say he knew people that are making 250k and there kids got OSAP. isn't cut off like 150k. So you know the wealthy are committing fraud? I think it's not talked about how the tuition freeze being removed will play into this.

@isaaccallan It's unsustainable when you sit on billions and purposely underspend. It's almost like they want to break it, they don't even have to hide it anymore.

NEW: Ontario's finance minister says the province's spending on health-care is "unsustainable" as he writes his 2026 financial plan. Speaking in Mississauga, Peter Bethenfalvy said, "We’re going to have to manage that challenge." #OnPoli globalnews.ca/news/11669653/…

@MoonGlo33 @DC6444446738423 @brianlilley Lord Galen forbids it. Cue the profit margin gaslighters. There shouldn't be record profits quarter after quarter. But the monopolies are in with all parties to look away.

OSAP barely covers the basics. Students rely on OSAP while working multiple jobs just to afford necessities. No one is buying fancy watches or cologne. We need solutions that help Ontarians afford education, not dismissive remarks that invalidate students' concerns and struggles

WATCH: Premier @fordnation calls on Ontario students to stop "picking basket-weaving courses," and encourages them to pursue STEM fields with job availability.

@PierrePoilievre Stop mislabelling corporate greed as inflation. Please present a plan to limit monopolies and record profits for essentials of survival like food. Inflation is the scape goat for price inflation.

BREAKING: Food inflation rockets to new heights reaching 7.3%—doubled since Carney took office. By far the worst in the G7 after Carney increases taxes on fuel, farming, and food processing. The Liberal food inflation crisis is becoming an emergency, we need action. Now. I will be writing the Prime Minister today demanding emergency reversals on Liberal polices before Canadians go hungry.

The Ford government is on a path to underfund healthcare by $10.7 billion, says Ontario’s financial watchdog. While the finance minister is promising “no frontline cuts” & urging hospitals to find efficiencies, opposition critics predict hospitals will be forced to make layoffs

Let's just say it: UNIVERSITY SHOULD BE FREE FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY as it is in many wealthy countries and by actually requiring the wealthy to pay the % what most Canadians pay we could afford it
Androon 🇨🇦🇵🇰@androonme

I study engineering at UofT. My Tuition is 16k per year. My family's income is below the national median. I commute ~1.5 hours so I dont have to worry about rent. Students like me, and the person below are the ones being hurt with this change. Doug's just becoming richer

@PierrePoilievre Maybe your partyshouldhave voted in favour of things like wartime houses Trudeau brought forward last year. Developers want larger expensive builds. Canadians need attainable priced houses that minimum wage earners can buy. You seem to be against affordability

More than 2/3 of people who don't own a home believe they will never afford one. This, as the Liberal government's own housing agency projects homebuilding to drop by up to 18.1% in the next 3 years. We must cut building taxes, get government out of the way, and let our builders unleash a construction boom to get Canadians into homes they can afford: conservative.ca/cpc/end-the-ne…

Liberals said food prices would "stabilize" 3 years ago. Their deficits & taxes gave Canada the worst food inflation in the G7. Canadians can't afford the same failed Liberal policies. Take ALL hidden Liberal taxes off your grocery bill: conservative.ca/cpc/stop-taxin…

Chris d’Entremont did seventeen years as a Progressive Conservative MLA. Then became a Conservative MP. Two decades building a career on Conservative loyalty… and now suddenly he is Liberal? What was the price to sell his soul?
