Hey @OpenAI and @ChatGPTapp — want to tell me why my daughter WITH FRECKLES violates your policy by asking for the image to also have freckles?

@v0 One of these commits reeks of burnout and bugginess. Verify you’re human by selecting the dev that gave up and pushed to prod anyway… @v0

But this article gets better. The subhead reads: Websites will soon serve primarily as data sources for AI platforms, not destinations for humans, Mailchimp predicts MAILCHIMP?! That is your source?!

This from the @WSJ: "AI Has Upended the Search Game. Marketers Are Scrambling to Catch Up." We aren't.

@bentossell @Perigon_io won’t change your life. It’ll just quietly become part of it. No fanfare, no fireworks—just facts that fit like muscle memory. You won’t notice it working. Until you try to work without it. And that's the point.

i’m so fucking sick of bad AI software. we’ve been promised the world will change, everyone will get rich, no-one has to work again bla bla bla. and then we get tools that claim they are great at xyz or ‘never use/do abc again’. it’s all bullshit. take perplexity for example. they’ve raised ~$900M, have ~100 employees and they just shipped their assistant to kill siri (apparently). “it can book a reservation for you” no it cant. it just adds search params to opentable. thats fine(ish), but did no one check it in a different location than where they are based? didnt work for me btw flitwick manor is not ‘awesome’📷 “it can set up reminders for you” not really. it added a reminder on my reminders app (fine), set to recurring (didnt ask for that), and set the time for yesterday (🙄 - and got the time wrong) o3 stitched the three screenshots together nicely ❤️ - o3 is good software this mini essay (linked below), with demos and examples, is fantastic and hits the nail on the head. Why are so many companies shipping just crappy software with AI tacked on? Every email writer I’ve tested is awful, many text-to-app builders that claim to be better than the current front-runners are also awful. it feels like there’s so much hype about ai that everyone just markets to the hype. with little to no substance. another post (also below), this time reviewing Cluely - which went viral as it allows you to ‘cheat’ in realtime. but, the title of the post says it all “I used the ‘cheat on everything’ AI tool and it didn’t help me cheat on anything” i think hyped launches add new paying users which is contributing to these not quite true $000’s M ARR stats we’re seeing. it’ll all come out in the wash. rant over.

Think Tinder for algorithms. AIs now swipe right on specialized skills. If you miss this open-source wave — you're officially dinosaur tech 🦖

I started a chat to showcase the incredible context: perigon.io/chat/shared/94… Perigon allows you to filter you own sources, so you get the most accurate info, without the black box AI algorithm

@JonHaidt I really enjoyed your interview with @ezraklein; as a parent to 2 tiny humans in a very urban area, I am working hard on the autonomy part. In your discussion you mentioned using #perplexity for research. If you're looking for more real-time, unbiased data, check out @Perigon_io.

@NotJackKemp your #stubhub story... SAME thing happened to us except we showed up and they said our tickets were for the night before; they weren't. Their response "you can buy tickets at the box office". Crazy thing, the SAME thing happened to the guy sitting next to us at that concert.

"MCP is like a USB-C port for your AI applications. Just as USB-C offers a standardized way to connect devices to various accessories, MCP standardizes how your AI apps connect to different data sources and tools.” 👉 @akshay_pachaar 🚀 Here's how MCP is reshaping everything while most devs aren't looking... 👇 #AIdev #MCP

For our first @UpstartsMediaCo newsletter, I dug into Granola, the AI meeting notes app that's become a favorite tool of VCs and founders, growing 10% weekly. CEO Chris Pedregal spoke to me about his plans for a "tool for thought" and the crowded AI note-taking startup field.
