Fully agree that ‘The KlimaSeniorinnen decision’s significance is substantial, demonstrating that international human rights bodies … can demand climate action’- @CIJ_ICJ will also consider and those States submitting that there is no HR link should revise their submission.

There's also a lack of clarity about whether the conditions set out in the KlimaSeniorinnen judgment regarding victim status has been met. This concludes the hearing, and just like that it's over.

Unanimously, the court holds that it's not necessary to examine the applicability of Art. 2 ECHR. 16-1: there's a violation of Article 8 ECHR!!!!!!!

Climate change exists, it's a threat to Convention rights (yes!!), States are aware of it and capable of taking measures to address it, and the risks will be lower if the rise in temperatures is limited to 1.5 degrees.
