Over $7,000 just to get the keys to a rental. First month’s rent, last month’s rent, a security deposit, and prorated rent. It’s getting to the point where renting can require as much cash upfront as buying a small condo with 5% down.

I will say it again and again. Working 8 to 9 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week, 11 months a year just to barely afford one week of vacation is a form of systemic violence. You do not work to live, you live to work.

When my rental sells I'll have roughly $80K in cash after everything. Rates are still too high to buy the multifamily I want. So the real question: Park it in a money market at 4% and wait? Or put it to work now and stay liquid enough to move later? Patience or deployment. Pick one.

This is extremely suspicious A Flock Camera is being installed right outside an ‘Academy Sports + Outdoors’ These sell firearms, but pay very close attention to where the camera is pointed. Right at the door. This isn’t tracking license plates, it’s literally installed and pointed directly at the door of the sporting store to capture who’s going in and out Almost like it’s mass surveillance and could be tracking people purchasing firearms or into these hunting activities

You are expected to have a four-year degree that costs tens of thousands of dollars, a reliable vehicle that costs $500 a month to finance, and a professional wardrobe to look the part at a job that pays you $45,000 a year. Then, that exact same society turns around and acts completely shocked when you can't afford a $450,000 house or a $2,100 monthly rent payment on your own. The math doesn't check out. We don't have a generation that refuses to grow up or save money. We have an entire generation that did everything they were told to do, only to realize the entry fee to a basic adult life has been completely priced out of reality.

Now, 52% of young adults live with their parents—the highest rate ever, surpassing even the Great Depression. The most educated and most indebted generation in history did everything they were supposed to do and got this. The system. Does. Not. Work.

@unusual_whales OPERATOR ERROR. As I travel locally in the country I notice more foreigners enjoying and experiencing America than Americans. Most Americans wanna go away on vacation for social media. Foreigners just chilling taking in history ect. We can spend locally and simply to have fun

A lot of young men are working brutally physical jobs, making what used to be decent money, and still realizing it might not be enough to buy a normal house. That’s a dangerous thing for a society to ignore. If nothing changes, a lot of young men are going to become very angry.

Ocean City MD is experiencing a collapse in its summer economy. Business is down roughly a third or more. OC usually swells to 500,000 people in the summer Ocean City is known as a Middle Class/blue collar shore town. More proof that the Middle Class consumer is cooked 💀

Catherine Fitts explains why the 2020 lockdowns were necessary to save the system. Basically they locked us down so they could print $6T and prevent hyper-inflation. That's how bad the situation is. There's no solution here. A global reset is coming.
Financelot@FinanceLancelot

Contrary to popular belief the global economy actually died about 15 years ago. Since then the "growth" was money printing. Inflation was offset by offshore manufacturing. Now we're at the end of that road. Debt payments are unsustainable & printing produces hyper-inflation.
