@francois18 @DiffusionISMRM Hi @francois18: WMTI relies on DKI fit, so cannot be applied to high b data (beyond 2000-3000 s/mm^2 in vivo at body temp, 4000-600s/mm^2 ex vivo at room temp). The AWF is T2-weighted so would become higher for longer TE (assuming T2 is higher inside axons).

#ScienceQuestion: if the extracellular compartment signal is fully supressed (due to long TE or high b-value), must be the WMTI model be changed to estimate accurate AWF or the model cannot be applied? .@DiffusionISMRM .@elsfi
