Agree with Olivia here. Mullin in that situation was trying to talk to protestors trying to break down House door.

Some context here: Then-Rep. Mullin was one of a handful of GOP members who helped Capitol Police barricade the door that leads to Statuary Hall. I was in the House chamber and I remember there was confusion when a loud noise that was initially mistaken as gunfire was heard and someone yelled, “Shots fired!” Several people on the floor jumped behind chairs, including Mullin, and police officers drew their weapons. Mullin shortly thereafter yelled: “No shots! Don’t shoot. Those weren’t shots," per my reporting at that time. Dem members were, however, very angry at Mullen and their other GOP colleagues for voting not to certify the election after the Capitol 1/6 attack.

Payrolls fell -92k in Feb. Jan growth was revised down by -4k to +126k. And Dec revisions subtracted -64k to -17k.

This is hands down the biggest story of the day if the Treasury is about to start shorting futures to suppress prices. That would have no real impact on the physical market and would only further disconnect futures, forwards, and spreads. The problem doesn’t just go away—in fact, it would likely get worse for the physical market.

I voted against President Trump’s reckless and illegal war in Iran. We have already lost American troops, and many others are injured. In their briefing to Congress this week, the Trump Administration could not articulate any credible rationale for the war nor a plan to bring it to an end.
The war is quickly expanding, and it risks destabilizing the entire region. It is putting many more troops and civilian lives in danger. By illegally launching this war, President Trump has made us less safe.
