Had a great visit with Whooshh Innovations CEO Vincent Bryan this morning to learn about their work deploying solutions for safe and effective fish passage on hydroelectric dams. Salmon and the dams can, and do, coexist and I remain committed to defending our dams while investing in efficient fish passage technology.

My thoughts are with Susie Wiles following her recent breast cancer diagnosis and I wish her a speedy recovery from this terrible disease.

Last week, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Nearly one in eight women in the United States will face this diagnosis. Every day, these women continue to raise their families, go to work, and serve their communities with strength and determination. I now join their ranks. I am grateful to have an outstanding team of doctors who detected the cancer early and are guiding my care, and I am encouraged by a very good prognosis. I am also deeply thankful for the support and encouragement of President Trump as I undergo treatment and continue serving in my role as White House Chief of Staff.

The Korean government is attacking a Washington-headquartered company in order to allow expanded access to CCP-linked businesses. Office raids, incessant investigations, and discriminatory hearings targeting U.S. citizens must end, full stop.

I am alarmed by the Korean government’s treatment of U.S. companies. You do not punish American firms while giving China more room to move in Korea. U.S. businesses must be treated fairly and consistent with President Trump’s order defending them from overseas extortion and unfair fines.

The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 strengthens support for specialty crop growers, invests in agricultural export programs, and improves forest health to reduce the risk of wildfire. As a third-generation farmer in the Yakima Valley I know firsthand the challenges facing farm country, and I am proud to support this critical piece of legislation to deliver assistance to Rural America when it is needed most.

Our dams remain under attack. This latest ruling increasing spill throughout the year will harm salmon populations while straining our electric grid. Once again, environmental activists are using judicial allies to threaten our hydroelectric system, which provides clean, baseload energy to millions in our region. These vital pieces of infrastructure allow irrigation and navigation for farmers, their commodities, and many other products that move on the rivers.
