Yall remember where y’all was and what y’all was doing when Euphoria dropped? I do. I have a story. Wanna hear it? Here it goes: I was walking from the store grabbing some coffee and smoking a cig and my fav daughter got some Sour Patch Kids when I got the notification that Kendrick finally dropped his full diss. I let the entire cig burn out. I hit play and my first thought was “cmon Kendrick you stepping to the battle with a fuckin POEM?? “Them superpowers been neutralized…”. Bruh I hear this soft calm spoken word shit and I’m like nah fam! Kendrick, this is NOT gonna get it done man… …………….. And then the beat dropped……………and I proceeded to hear one of the greatest diss tracks that I have ever heard in my life. #Euphoria

The problem is y’all can’t separate hate from envy. These people don’t hate Kendrick they hate the fact that he has been able to take conscious music and make it listenable in the mainstream. Not only make it listenable but also make him arguably the best of all time. He has one of the best hip-hop catalogs in history of hip-hop underground and mainstream. He will also only work with you if he feeling the music. He said that the beginning of his career. He also is the most decorated hip-hop artist ever. According to statistics Kendrick was never supposed to make it this far in the mainstream. He did though not only did he make it where no conscious rapper has ever been his conscious music is undeniable and timeless. It’s not hate they doing what they do to all artist who makes it to the very top. What separates Kendrick is he will only respond through the music he not going to make a fool of himself dispute internet narratives and lies. He is also silent and unstoppable, and unpredictable I say let them keep going last time this happened we got DAMN 🤷🏽‍♀️

Quality is reflected in critic reviews, peer recognition, public reception, cultural impact, and long-term influence, not just sales, which is exactly why rating systems exist for music, films, etc.
