Hello @ReefScientist. I was recently looking at your research interests and was wondering if you could give me some insight on the resilience of our coral reef ecosystems in recent years. Thank you!
@reef_research Hello, I was wondering if you have any advice for the average person on what one can do to make a difference in lessening the impact they have on the destruction of coral reefs?
During Week 2 I got the opportunity to research connectivism learning theory. This was interesting to me as I have and continue to use it as I am going through school however until last week I did not know that was I was doing connected to well with a learning theory. #EM203Robin
@EM203SGray Hi Spencer! I also did the sudoku challenge and was wondering if you could share more about your experience? Did you find it challenging? I found myself having to stop myself from going online and searching for the completed puzzle. Having the answer so accessible was hard for me
#EM203Robin So far EM203 has been a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed learning about the 3 M's and I even completed my first difficult Sudoku puzzle. Looking forward to what week 4 has to offer!
@Em203ARoshan I totally agree with what you have taken away from the lessons so far! To me it’s quite clear that technology has made creativity and collaboration much easier in learning. But how do you feel it has impacted critical thinking? Do you think it has been more positive or negative?
Reflecting on the first 3 classes of #EM203Robin: Fascinated by how digital tools reshape learning! The focus on collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking feels so relevant. Excited to explore more and do more x-challenges.
@EM203_Taha I think this lesson was one of the things that have stuck with me the most so far in the semester. It really makes me think of how technology is ever evolving and although we may think we understand it, we never fully do.
The past three lessons have shown me that "digital natives" aren't as tech savvy as they seem and most stick to regular online tasks. Also learned adults use the internet just as much. The Internet is changing how we learn not just what we learn. #EM203Robin
@EM203TDavies I also thought these were really cool ways for us to explore how we can express a new idea in a multitude of ways. Thanks for sharing Tyler!
It has been really cool to examine a variety of media forms in such a short period of time. Whether it be comic strips, articles, videos or pictures, we have been able to identify different types of media and how they can all teach and articulate similar messaging. #EM203Robin
@EM203Fsaunders Connectivism is such an interesting new topic for me! Before this class I never really thought too deeply about how integrated technology was into our everyday learning.
Throughout the last 3 weeks, I have learned a considerable amount about how learning has changed with social media through connectivism, a dynamic learning framework #EM203Robin
The past three weeks in this course have opened my eyes to the digital world that we surround ourselves with. The connectivism theory and constructivism theory are two aspects of the learning that really stood out to me! #EM203Robin
