After three years, Congress FINALLY reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act today – and we strengthened it by adding desperately needed resources for LGBTQ+, Native, and rural communities. Survivors of domestic abuse finally have the critical protections they deserve.

Maintaining a positive outlook is one thing I work hard to do. It’s never too late to start a new beginning.

Investing and taking part of programs such as #PMforYouth can educate us on promoting gender issues as well as working towards demolishing stereotypes. We need more programs like these!

Yesterday’s stabbings at a gender studies class at the University of Waterloo are horrifying and unacceptable. This type of violence must always be condemned. Our thoughts are with the professor and two students who were injured.

@EM203JMilanovic Hello Julianna, I also agree that EM203's structure allows us to understand various types of learning and the importance of finding your own way of learning. Once we figure out what techniques we learn best with, we can excel greatly.

EM203 has been such an educational course so far, I have learned that there are many theories surrounding learning and how they can be used. Figuring out your own best ways to learn is very important #EM203Robin.
