@alixstein You should check out Walmart - They just announced that they'll be banning single-use plastic bags!! The introduction of reusable bags only, will help save many marine creatures from entanglement and possibly strangulation!

@alixstein Thank you for your support and for doing your part to reduce your plastic consumption! Repurposing products to give them a second life is a great way to keep plastic out of our oceans! I do the same with my pasta jars, and even empty candle containers!

@Seanconnolly999 Very good option! It's not always talked about, but part of the plastic pollution that ends up in our oceans comes from the microfibers from our clothes that get released into the water while washing! So it's important to make sure we are washign responsbily!

@robynhudecki That's great to hear Robyn! It's such a fun way to get involved while also helping to take care of our coastlines! So much plastic debris gets washed up and risks endangering turtles and birds among other animals, so it's important that we remove any potential plastic threats!

We don't have to sacrifice sustainability to have a happy holiday! We should all make a conscious effort to opt for recyclable and compostable alternatives for wrapping gifts!
