@SimoneGiertz Honestly I was just jealous that you had managed to get a brain scan! It's weird they scan in neurology but not in psychiatry. If I got it, I would also create beautiful brain art like hoodies and a shredder!

@theevilbit It's ingrained in the Swedish soul, this book.... and as a parent you see it very differently from when you're a kid! I never understood why Pettson was considered crazy!

@planetmoney @drlisadcook Amazing episode! One question: when it comes to female innovation, afaik it's common historically for women to file a patent through a male relative. To what extent did whites file patents on blacks behalf/steal their idea? Or did innovators not intermingle over racial borders?

.@DrLisaDCook found a hole in one of the central theories of economic growth – the impact of racial violence on innovation. But getting her colleagues to see it took ten years. npr.org/2020/06/12/876…

Försöker lansera Eivor som könsneutralt möjligt bebisnamn. @folin är väldigt tveksam.

@m49D4ch3lly The rate of asymptomatic and mild infections may be a lot higher than expected!

Rimligt.

I'm at day 7 of probable Corona. I have looked for information about what to expect from a mild case, but I find nothing tailored for this group... is there any #citizenscience project to collect such data?

In October, I was privileged to accompany Cmdr. Chris Hadfield on banjo. Here 00:25s to 01:25 is about today and testing, too: 1) Understand the actual risk; 2) Ask what your mission is; 3) Understand your constraints; 4) Plunge in, take action, learn. youtu.be/4uL5sqe5Uk8 (

In Corona times it's time for kiddo to get her own means of video calling from her iPad. What video calling apps are there that have E2E encryption but doesn't require a phone number? #security

@HackyScientress As mentioned: it depends on the expert. We will know with time and research whether partial or full shutdown is the best approach... we are now witnessing a huge natural experiment. Sweden and Finland do partial, Denmark and Norway do full. In a year we know what was best!

@emalstm Shuttling down schools is good, but what is needed is childcare for people working in critical infrastructure. But most states in Germany failed to provide that and that will have big consequences unless they fix that fast.

#CoronaVirusDE #COVID19

@HackyScientress So perhaps all some but not all Länder in Germany now have reached the tipping point? Or the experts that are for full shutdown and the ones for partial shutdown are interviewed in different articles, thus making the public confused.

@emalstm I'm not fear driven I'm driven by data and the knowledge of experts. And even experts who at first where against closing down schools in Germany are now for it since a couple days after looking at data and studies.
