@WebberMuse @abhijitwt Some of this cases are crazy to think off . Good for the countries themselves tho

@emantrigo @abhijitwt .tv was/is definitely at that scale. GoDaddy single-handedly funds like 1/6 of Tuvalu's national revenue selling that domain

Every time you see a startup with “.ai” in its domain…
someone is getting paid.
Not the founders.
Not the VCs.
A tiny Caribbean island is.
→ Anguilla
Back in 1995, countries got their domain codes:
> India got .in
> The UK got .uk
> The US got .us
> Anguilla got .ai
At the time, it meant nothing.
No tech scene.
No startups.
Just tourism.
Then ChatGPT happened.
And suddenly:
> .ai started to mean credibility
> .ai started to mean cutting-edge tech
> .ai started to mean something investors take seriously
So every startup rushed to buy it.
The result?
> Domains grew from ~60K to 1M+
> ~2,000 new registrations per day
> ~$130 per domain (2 years)
And here’s the crazy part:
> Nearly HALF of Anguilla’s national budget now comes from .ai domains
That money is funding:
> Lower taxes
> Free healthcare for kids
> A brand new international airport
No strategy.
No master plan.
Just… two letters assigned by chance.
Sometimes, the biggest leverage in the world is pure luck.

@synthwavedd Looks like usual ai studio neobrutalism normal prompt tbh

If Codex gets to Claude-level UI/design generation, things could get really interesting.
Implementation already feels strong.
If the design gap closes, I can see a very bright future for it.

Would anyone be interested in learning how I make these videos?

@Anaya_sharma876 My default would be:
Side projects / fast prototypes → Supabase
Simple auth flows + you’re okay with usage-based pricing → Clerk
More complex products where auth is core → custom with Better Auth

@Kappaemme1926 Am I the only one who has always used both?
I feel like each one has its strengths

@khushiirl Probably because 5.5 can compete in some tasks with 4.7 , but the limits feel higher i guess

just killed about 20 AI coding tools
most are outdated or straight up trash
here are the 8 I'm keeping an eye on (and why)
1. Codex - best single-model coder, shit at design
2. Cursor - best multi-model, but expensive
3. Omnara - best for private cloud/phone from anywhere
4. Conductor - big new update, but still sucks with Codex
5. Warp - lots of recent changes + BYOK
6. OpenCode - desktop needs work but huge promise
7. Zed - same as OpenCode, big open harness promise
8. VS Code - new agents app has promise but is rough
