Apple needs to make Xcode more agent friendly. Two immediate things they need to improve: make `xcodebuild` output way, way less verbose to avoid context pollution, and add CLI commands to modify the project structure (e.g. adding files, changing targets, etc.).
I tried it on an 11" 2nd generation iPad Pro.
The problem with CaptureOne for iPad is that it often freezes when operating the camera.
I have tried with several different cables.
I then used the same cable to operate the MacBook and confirmed that there was no problem.
I decided not to use CaptureOne for iPad for my next job.
I hope you guys will further develop.
@thefikboy@MightyJax@captureone I discussed the issue with the team today. We want to get in touch with you to see your logs :) I'll get in touch with support to find your ticket and contact you
@thefikboy@MightyJax@captureone Hmm... I didn't receive any DM. Please try again, or maybe contact support and mention this conversation with me so they know where to forward the ticket.
@thefikboy@MightyJax@captureone That sounds very weird since that's a very common scenario and I never heard of this before. Please write me a DM so I can forward your contact to the team... I'm sure they would love to see your logs :)
@emanuelez@MightyJax@captureone I tried on both iphone 12 pro max and ipad latest generation. But keep failing. Total of 163 photos. Btw I managed to export all but it takes 5 hours (average 2 mins per photo)
@emanuelez@MightyJax@captureone I’ve tried exporting the files so many times, but it keeps failing. Sometimes it works, but then the next photo won’t export. Then, like 20 minutes later, it might randomly work again. Most of the time, it just doesn’t export, and honestly, it feels like it’s all down to luck
@thefikboy@MightyJax@captureone It depends what you mean by saving. Changes are automatically saved in the catalogue, but if you want to export the pictures there's a dedicated button for that :)
Ideally I would like to plug my iPhone into my Mac, open capture one go to import and see my iPhone camera roll and be able to import while organizing my photos and videos to my Mac in some local folder/storage that way I can edit my photos directly in capture one. Lightroom lets me import that way but when I use capture one my iPhone doesn’t show up as a drive. So I’m forced to use Lightroom or import to Mac photos app to folder/storage then important from there into capture one into another folder. I am trying to avoid Mac photos app and Lightroom and just want to control where my photos are stored and edited.
@MightyJax@captureone What's your use-case? Is it transferring unedited RAWs from the Capture One Mobile to Desktop? There are several ways to do this, including cloud transfer, but you can also export originals from your iPhone and use Airdrop or whatever other medium offered by your iPhone.
@emanuelez@captureone So I don’t see my iPhone when I plug it into the Mac in the locations like I do a hard drive? Is there anything special I need to do ? On Lightroom my iphone pulls up like a hard drive to offload my photos but not in Capture one?
@captureone Can you add support for iPhone ? So when you plug in your iPhone I can pull all my pictures off ? Lightroom lets me but I’d rather use capture one
We might be late to the party, but it's time to get in the right imaging mood with Levels and Curves on mobile. We’ve also made sure you can import and export to external storage to save space on your device.

@akaburn_megane If the new cable does not help it would be great if you could send me the logs so we can help you further. You can write to me in a DM for further instructions :)
@emanuelez Thank you. I'll start by getting a new cable and checking it. I had set the USB mode to PC Remote, and it worked at first, but gradually it stopped being recognized. I'll give it a try, and if it doesn't work, I'll consider other options
@akaburn_megane That is a very popular camera among Capture One users so I’m quite sure we can make it work :) first make sure that the cable is ok. Try another cable if necessary. Make sure the camera is set correctly. USB mode should be PTP. Let me know if that helps!
