The global fertility crisis is caused by giving careers and feminist education to women, and especially creating an entire field of administrative bloat, which includes both direct government employment, and also corporate "project manager" roles indirectly mandated.

@Read_Acted @classicspilled @CRPakaluk Yes and another elephant is women in the workforce. My dghtr enjoyed pakaluks book but its premise is still “conservative libtards are the real feminists: we can excel while being moms”. And that’s only true for a small % of womn Fertility awareness is overtaking birth control

Speaking of female desire: i. I do agree insofar as family and children should be explicitly championed through culture, esp to young women. ii. I think the elephant in the room on is pharmaceuticals. Hormonal BC and antidepressants totally nuke normal attraction patterns, which turns out is apocalyptic

The solution to the fertility crisis isn't vitalist hypersexual fertility cults. It's religion and marriage. @CRPakaluk in her book shows that college educated women have children because they value it over other goods. Religion, specifically Christianity and Judaism, helps support this belief. It gives women strength, connects them to a body greater than themselves, and promotes a value for human life.

It’s interesting that the most obsessive critics in the evangelical world—eager to hammer on any “problematic” idea or association—often have personal histories or behavior patterns that suggest far more depraved proclivities.

@im_1776 Yes. As a teen in 90s I loved the texture of Tolkien’s world. Folk Songs, foreign tongues, ancient heritage, the xenos across the mountains, maps.First 100 pages of LOTR is picnics and hiking. The movies are Hwood music set over book allusion- fight-allusion-fight-allusion-fight

@HonorAndDaring The non-doctrinal Moralistic Therapeutic Deism is the reigning belief. Dispy is on the way out. Only ppl under 50 who believe it are very well indoctrinated from their parents, and false teachers. It’s now or never for these guys.

Dispensationalism exists among Evangelicals, but not all Evangelicals believe it. Evangelical Presbyterian & Lutherans don’t subscribe to it. Further, there is growing skepticism of dispensationalism especially among younger Evangelicals. Don’t let it divide Trump’s coalition.

@Yamnayanage But the purpose was to scandalize and shame the Israelites (who correlate with the whore) and show how gracious God (the redemptive husband). Hosea wasn’t bragging about how he married a pin cushion, it made him a retarded pariah. And his message was “no, you… but spiritually.”

@DisgracedProp I particularly love that they build these with zero regard for existing road networks. "Oops, sorry, your neighborhood of a few hundred swelled to thousands. This probably won't have any disastrous impacts on transportation. We think."

Stay-at-home moms easily have more free time than anyone who works a full-time job and it's not even close. Kids play independently, they nap, they aren't nearly as much work as Big Mom pretends they are.
Happy A Heathen@LucyferLoo

@revenant_MMXX No. Men should raise their own children. Make them quit their jobs, give up their hobbies and ambitions. They are parents too, right?

@revenant_MMXX Women struggle to be beautiful, to feel beautiful, and to prioritize beauty. The free time is meant for beauty. That’s what working moms traded for money and a sense of being worthy. But they Should have kept the beauty priority. Bc it delivers on worthiness like nothing else.

Because it's a humiliation ritual designed to emasculate Christian men and make them look weak. It demands men be "real men" by "stepping up" and marrying women massive baggage, thus lowers standards for women and encourages them to continue sin because they will be bailed out.

I am failing to see how sharing your wife’s testimony and speaking about the redemptive work of Christ & the gospel is a bad thing? Someone please explain.

@BritHugoboom @mattyglesias Boomer contra marriage is fading. The current marriage push/pull is, roughly, classy va trashy. More and more (Charlie Kirk for example) high achievers frame marriage as ripe for lower 20s. Diner goth adjacents still see marriage as a trap for both young men and young women

@mattyglesias Living in Los Angeles the entirety of my 20’s, I was always told to wait and delay marriage and not waste my youth on getting married by older men and women. I think it’s more elders saying “you have time” vs marriage proposals.

I’m curious about the woman-centric framing of all this social con messaging, is it the case that lots of twentysomething women are receiving marriage proposals from eligible men and turning them down? What’s the leverage point here?

@ccmembersonly Right. This is another reason that religious has higher TFR. In secular society, it’s 80/20 hypergamic, many men in incel state, women in self-censoring fertility. In monogamous faith, distribution of fertility is more even throughout the population.

Private schools aren't great because they produce better academic and college results. They're great because of the student body selected by wealth and a competitive admissions process, which filters out stupid and disruptive people. The student body precedes academic excellence.

@Babygravy9 I read during last summer Olympics that cam mcevoy trained with (road) sprints, and was a model for speed-based training. Coupled with reduced volume, now I wonder too. In boys in the boat movie, one rower fasted and rested (bc sick) prior to their surprise gold medal victory.

@RolandGunnTN Yes and also gut health redemption stories are gross. “I used to be soooo gassy. I’d eat at my brother’s house (😳) and pass gas for hours and hours afterward, even before I left their house. But now I supplement this powder. No gas! Yay me! Use my code”

Just avoid talking about you or your spouse’s past sexual sin online, or at all outside of certain narrow privileged contexts. This includes your history of porn use. It even applies if you’re unmarried. None of us need to know, most of us don’t want to.
