@HQNewsNow RFK too stupid to pay attention to the fact that taxpayers don't pay the inspectors that were laid off. The cruise ships pay fees which pays the salaries so he's made people less safe from the virus and save zero dollars. Typical.

Rainbow swamps happen in First Landing Park, Virginia when the bald cypress trees drop their leaves in the Autumn; they begin to decompose in the swamp. When hit at the right angle by the sun, it gives off this prismatic reflection, and the longer the water goes undisturbed, the stronger the effect becomes.

There is a coffee shop in Singapore that serves one of the most magical drinks you can imagine.
At Sweet Little Rain, an ordinary Americano is transformed into something almost poetic. Instead of being served on its own, the cup arrives with a delicate cloud of cotton candy suspended above it. As the hot steam rises, the cloud slowly melts, dissolving into gentle drops that fall into the coffee below, like a tiny, sweet rainstorm.
Bit by bit, the drink changes before your eyes, shifting from a bold, bitter brew into something softer and subtly sweet. It’s not just a coffee, it’s a moment, a performance, and a reminder that even the simplest things can be turned into something surprising.

@Rainmaker1973 Absolutely! As are many many of the unfairly maligned reptiles, birds and animals in the world.
Snakes don't hunt humans - they hunt rodents and some other poisonous snakes
Vultures and Turkey Vultures don't portend bad omens - they eat roadkill and other dead remains

Opossums are among the most unfairly maligned animals in North America. Their nocturnal habits, hissing, and toothy displays often lead people to view them as pests or threats. In reality, these quiet marsupials provide some of the most valuable services in urban and suburban ecosystems.
Contrary to popular belief, opossums very rarely carry or transmit rabies. Their lower body temperature makes it difficult for the virus to survive, making cases extremely uncommon.
They are also highly effective pest controllers. A single opossum can consume thousands of ticks per season, helping reduce the spread of dangerous tick-borne illnesses like Lyme disease. Beyond ticks, they act as nature’s sanitation workers, scavenging on carrion, insects, fallen fruit, and organic waste. This cleanup work helps limit bacteria and disease while keeping ecosystems balanced.
Their dramatic defensive displays, hissing, baring teeth, and even “playing dead” with a foul odor, are mostly bluffs designed to deter predators rather than signs of aggression.
Far from being a nuisance, opossums are beneficial neighbors quietly doing the dirty work that keeps our environment cleaner and healthier. The next time you spot one, there’s no need to fear or harm it, just let it continue its important nighttime duties.

Dear rural Republican voters, farmers, and all Americans struggling with costs right now,
When you vote in November, remember this.
It was Trump's tariffs that killed the soybean market for American farmers, to the benefit of China. Farm bankruptcies are up 46% since Trump took office. Grocery prices are up 2.7%.
It was Trump's unnecessary war that drove gas prices up to the same peak high under Biden in 2022.
It was Congressional Republicans who voted to cut $1 trillion in healthcare for Americans, 15 million who will lose their coverage, or whose local rural hospital has already shut down.
And it is Congressional Republicans who proposed today to spend $1 billion of YOUR tax dollars on a ballroom that was promised to be funded by billionaire donors.
This isn't the Golden Age, it's a golden grift. Remember that.
November is coming. 🇺🇸

@allenanalysis I say - let Trump run for a third term election but this time let it be against President Obama since a third term for Trump means a third term for President Obama would be okay too apparently. Let the best man win
English

JUST IN: A Trump judicial nominee was asked point blank: is Trump eligible to run for a third term?
Their answer: “I would have to review the actual wording…”
Sen. Chris Coons then asked every nominee in the room to confirm the Constitution bars a third term.
Silence.
Every single one of them refused to say it.
Trump is appointing judges who won’t affirm the 22nd Amendment to his face.
Never stop connecting the dots.

@HQNewsNow Trump family benefitted even more from this in addition to having an airport named after him?
I don't understand how stupid these cos/businesses are. What a dopey contract for the airport owners to enter into. Hey - I'll name it after you but only if I HAVE to buy your products
