Congress has introduced a new bill that could change how every phone, laptop, and tablet works in the US.
The Parents Decide Act would require companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft to collect your exact date of birth before you can set up or use the device.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian would need to verify it.
The operating system would then let apps check your age to restrict content or require approval.

This is a strong step in the right direction. I hope Roblox considers expanding this approach to target predators who repeatedly violate the TOS and harm users.
A clear example is Keone Gouveia from Waipahu Hawaii, whom I helped get arrested. He has continued creating new accounts to groom and exploit minors. Beyond that, he ran a Discord server with over 15,000 members where he developed and sold exploits on the platform.
This is exactly the kind of repeat offender Roblox should make a serious example out of. Given his alleged history of purchasing Robux, there may already be enough account linked data to identify and stop him permanently.

PSA: ⚠️ Keone Gouveia, a Roblox predator I got arrested after he tried to meetup with a 13 year old is back on Roblox AGAIN. He was allegedly spotted in Roblox games like Mic Up and other experiences. Keone resides in Waipahu Hawaii.

Roblox has begun sending cease and desist letters to some of the largest condo creators in an effort to deter bad actors and open the door to further legal action.
By identifying the real-life identities of these individuals, Roblox is prepared to pursue further legal action should they continue to violate our terms.
In addition to moderating against the content creators, Roblox is taking moderation action against players who repeatedly join experiences that violate the Community Standards.
