Tulumbu is desperate to please the Christians and the southern part of the country; he feels he's done with the north. He thinks he's done with the toxic Muslim-Muslim ticket and done trusting the north to win. THE SOUTH WILL NOT FALL FOR THIS. ADC will select a Competent Southern candidate to block Tulumbu from accessing the South and Christian votes that he wants to deceive, as he deceived the North. Let's send Tulumbu to the North to beg for votes again. To go to the north, Tulumbu must continue his divisive Muslim-Muslim ticket and must meet the very angry North ravage with insecurity and poverty once again. If ADC produces a Northern candidate, he will quickly take advantage of the situation to drop his toxic ticket and start emotional propaganda against the North, claiming that the North always truncates the tenure of a Southern president with nothing to show: "Time of the South" rhetoric. If the ticket is given to Peter Obi, be rest assured that the 2027 campaign will be issue-based. Obi will take the campaigns to all corners of the country, engaging the people who matter most. His agility and ability to move around will help in exciting new and young voters, which is most needed to beat an incumbent. Peter Obi's presidency will make a 180-degree turn from the hopeless direction we are heading. He will restore the rule of law, strengthen our institutions, and stop rascality in government. He will bring home our diaspora and a new mindset of governance. He will cut the cost of government, fight corruption, and set our country in the direction of prosperity. Shikenan!! #PeterObiIsComing

Leadership Tussle: Nafiu Bala Resigns As ADC Chairman By Funke Ogunlolu The 2023 Gombe governorship candidate and former national deputy chairman of the African democratic congress. Nafiu Bala has tendered his letter of resignation after declaring himself as the interim national chairman of the party. In the letter Addressed to the former national chairman of the party, Ralph Nwosu, Bala stated that his resignation was to pave way for smooth and effective coalition as well as restructuring the party. Bala assured that he is not abandoning the party and ready to serve in any capacity but the former Gombe governorship candidate was silenced on the David Mark-led interim leadership. The announcement came after the official handing over of ADC to the former Senate President and his team by the former national executive committee on Wednesday. During his declaration as the national chairman, Bala had accused Mark-led interim leadership of the ADC of hijacking the party through unconstitutional means and warned of impending legal action to challenge what he described as a “total surrender” of the party’s structure to external political actors. The former deputy national chairman emphasized that the party’s constitution clearly outlines the processes for leadership succession and that, in line with those provisions, he was now assuming the position of interim national chairman. CheeseCake Named Desire.
Bandits operate for 10 hours: "We are monitoring the situation". 5 Nigerians carry a placard for 10 minutes: 100 police officers, 20 Hilux vans, 10 armored tanks and enough teargas to fog up West Africa. It’s clear who the state considers the real enemy. They aren't fighting insecurity; they are fighting our voices.

Last night I watched a documentary about the US Moon missions. Thousands of engineers, scientists, mathematicians and entire universities working on one impossible goal of putting humans on the Moon. The level of ambition was almost frightening. Then I opened Nigerian news this morning. And it was the same depressing circus: Politicians defecting again. ADC de-recognized. Jos massacre. Another ethnic argument on TV. Every day is just noise. 220 million people… and our biggest national obsession is still politics and tribe. No moonshot. No grand scientific challenge. No national engineering ambition. Just endless distraction. Did Nigerians themselves lose the hunger for greatness? Because great nations argue about how to build the future. We argue about who insulted who yesterday. And that difference is why some countries are planning missions to the Moon… while others are still trapped in yesterday’s arguments.

Peter Obi would have stayed back. That man would have visited bereaved families at home. He would not have stopped at the airport. He won’t have spent only 10 minutes. He would have gone to the hospitals to see the wounded. Obi would have toured the entire city of Jos. That man would have met the common masses of Plateau state on the streets. He would have marshaled resources to protect the people. Empathy is leadership. Showing up is empathy. That’s what he would have done differently!
