and they passed both resolutions — what a joke??? AIDEA staff alerted the board during the meeting that members of the public had been waiting to comment and they moved forward with their spending resolutions regardless…

@DirtDawgRay i live in alaska and have had verizon here for 10 years… just wanna switch but need international options so GCI is out for me :/ will look at Att

@emelex_ They piggyback off of the GCI towers. Fine if visiting but if you live in Alaska you’ll want to stick with AT&T or GCI (Verizon’s an option too but idk if the he have their own towers here or how many but they’re probably using GCI towers primarily)

AIDEA didn’t take public comment at their board meeting this morning. they plan to pass resolutions spending $70 million+ on bad projects in Alaska. many of us were on on the call with hands raised… #badAIDEA says “no one here” and moves on to exec session??? ~shocking~

@akneuron yes that’s been my experience too! but supposedly T-mobile shares towers w GCI. i’m on FB and Instagram :) @emelex on IG!

@emelex_ Hubs works out in Western AK, GCI the only carrier that works in village areas

obviously i’d rather be safe than fly with a maintenance issue but with my lower back injury this has been a hell of a day in SEA TAC and we still have a 5 hour flight again 😭

after 5 hour delay for maintenance issue on our 747 MAX 9 (😳) @AlaskaAir switches SEA-JFK to a 737-900. we are all boarded and seated, the pilot announces that maintenance has to come take a look at a light on on THIS plane. 6 hour delay, daytime flight turned red eye 😵‍💫.
