👋 Assalamulaykum all, On Saturday we took on Chelsea Muslims at Cobham – for charity. Despite our best efforts we took the L (7–3), but the boys couldn’t have given more. Despite the match being members-only, Chelsea turned up with a much stronger squad, however we couldn't have asked more from our boys. Even with that, our lads from all over the country made the journey & competed brilliantly! This was the first ever officially backed charity game between two supporters’ clubs - a historic moment, Alhamdulillah. A massive thank you to everyone who donated, and to all those who travelled far to play and volunteer. As it stands, our members have raised over £7,000 for charity (@MU_Foundation, @CFCFoundation, @UWT_UK) – absolutely incredible. The first of many events, in shā’Allāh. We look forward to getting even more members involved.
